About: I have had cats my entire life and have extensive experience caring for them through all stages of life. Growing up with cats taught me the importance of understanding their individual personalities, routines, and needs. In my adult life, I have had two cats of my own. One of them I raised from a kitten and cared for throughout his entire life until he was 13 years old. This experience gave me firsthand knowledge of kitten care, adult cat care, and the special attention and support senior cats need as they age. I am comfortable with daily feeding routines, litter box maintenance, administering medications when needed, and providing companionship while respecting each cat's unique temperament. About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. We had a dog in the past that had medication needs and special food needs so I accustomed to caring for dogs with special needs. About: I am a dog lover who has a mini Bernedoodle. I have had senior dogs and dogs with extensive medical needs. I am able to administer meds in any way shape or form and have done the off leash K9 training with two of my own dogs now, so am aware of some basic commands. About: I will take care of as if my own. I tend to get attached and fall in Love fast with furry friends. It’s actually called baby kitty syndrome. Like when you want to squeeze them so hard you will hurt them. Lol I need something to do with myself and make a little extra cash. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits all my life. I rescued 2 dogs, brother and sister, from the woods when they were 6wks old. They made it to be 16. I do have issues with my left leg/foot and lower back. About: Hi! I currently have a boxer/shiba Inu and a rescue puppy. My boxer/shiba went through an intensive training program where I was taught how to train a dog as well so I’m great with dogs. I love dogs (maybe more than people lol) and whenever there’s a dog around me my heart melts and I just want to play with them and take care of all the pups!! About: I have experience with all animal types including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, birds, pocket pets and some reptiles. I am a licensed vet tech so I am also comfortable medicating animals that need it. I have 7 dogs and 3 cats, all of which are friendly with other animals. I will treat your pets as if they are my own no matter if they are being boarded or just going for a walk. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your pets and their needs while you are working, vacationing, etc. I can care for pets early before work, mid-day and late after work. On weekends my schedule can be more flexible depending on what activities I have going on. Any dogs that come into my home will be treated as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to play in. Boarding dogs will have their own room to hang out in.
About: I’ve worked in pet care professionally for 9 years, 4 of those years being spent in veterinary medicine. I approach pet care in ways that makes the pets most comfortable and value building relationships with the pets as much as I do my clients. I have an academic background in public health and am currently pursuing higher education with the end goal of earning a DVM. I am currently working full time at an animal hospital in Newport News, making my schedule more limited than it used to be for my pet sitting clients. My schedule is more workable for households located in Deltaville, Topping, Gloucester, Glouster Point, Hayes and Yorktown. Morning and evening visits are possible all days of the week, mid day / afternoon visits are currently limited to weekends. Please reach out to ask about scheduling possibilities! Early AM (before 7:30AM) and evening (after 6pm) visits available all week. Afternoon / mid day visits are dependent on location and day, but open every weekend. I do not let dogs off-leash in non-fenced in areas or in spaces with dogs unfamiliar to yours. I require all dogs and cats to be updated on their rabies vaccines. I will not take an unaltered dog outside of his or her home, this is for the safety and wellbeing of your dog. If your dog struggles with behavioral issues and has a history of aggression, please include this in your message so I can help you decide the best options for your pet when it comes to meeting a new pet sitter. If your dog struggles with severe anxiety (this is very common!) please include some of the best anxiety-reducing practices for your dog (ex. favorite blanket, hiding spots, calming treats / jackets) in their care instructions so that they can have the best time possible without their favorite human.
