“This experience was amazing! My doggies came home sooo happy and got so much outside play time. She was so sweet and responsive. I hope to have the opportunity to use her for our next trip.”

“Whitney is amazing! She was so sweet to our high energy dog, took her on lots of walks, spent lots of time outside with her, and even ran with her! We would use her again without hesitation!! Seeing fun pics of our puppy everyday while we were away was so reassuring that she was in great hands!! Thanks Whitney!!”

“Dana, watched our two dogs (Luna & Tater) and all went great. We received daily text updates with pictures, which was very nice. She did a wonderful job, the dogs did super. We would highly recommend Dana. She provided a warm and caring place we can trust to leave our dogs for the weekend. Thanks! Sean & Sandy”

“Erica was so great, I’m solo pet owner and had plans at the last minute, she was so great with Marvel on first visit and my accommodation for extra day. He is smaller so he takes a few minutes to observe before playing with big dogs, but once he gets started he loves play dates all sizes”

“Scott & Sarah made the drop off and pick up super easy, and sent many photos to brighten my day while my pups were in their care. Lots of TLC! We will definitely book with them again next year!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Leslie provided for our dog, Siku, over the 9 days we were away. From the very beginning, Leslie was communicative, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. She made us feel completely at ease leaving Siku in her care. Throughout our trip, Leslie kept us updated with messages and photos, which meant so much to us. It was clear that Siku was not only well cared for, but also happy and comfortable. When we returned, Siku was relaxed, healthy, and clearly had been given lots of attention and love. Leslie truly went above and beyond, and we are so grateful to have found someone we trust. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and attentive pet sitter—and we will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Fantastic experience, Jennifer’s frequent updates and pictures allowed us to be able to relax and enjoy our vacation. Her dog Charlotte and our puppy played well together. Our puppy keeps asking to go back. Totally will use Jennifer again, and highly recommend her.”

“Katelyn was amazing. Very attentive. Reached out to us everyday with pictures and videos. Great communication throughout the whole visit. Our dogs loved her. Very easy to work with. We did an initial visit then she agreed to watch on the spot. April, her dog, is amazing as well. We will definitely go with her again!”

“I cannot say enough good things about the care Jocelin and Christian provided for my Kylo. I was so nervous to board him for a whole week, but I seriously think he had an even better vacation than I did! Jocelin sent me so many pictures, videos, and was so active with him! She truly treats the dogs in her care as if they were her own family and I would recommend her to anybody. Kylo is looking forward to the next time he gets to see you and thank you again for taking such great care of our pup! 🐕🦺🩷”

“Jessica truly went above and beyond while taking care of our dog Frank! She provided many updates and pictures and we knew he was in great care! She is amazing with dogs and would absolutely use her again!”

“Cori did a great job with our Bull Terrier. Not only did she communicate really well, but she was very flexible with pick up and drop off. Our dog came home happy, which makes us happy. Will hire Cori again!”

“She was awesome and I didn’t worry about Simon while we were away. It was the first time we left him so at first I was very nervous. Simon had separation anxiety during his stay and she was patient and understanding. She kept us updated on how he was doing throughout his stay with texts and pictures. Will definitely be booking her again for any future trips without hesitation.”

About: Hi! I’m Hope, a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet sitter offering in home dog boarding in a calm, family setting. I’m a stay at home mom to my two year old, so your dog will have constant supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. Our home is peaceful, loving, and ideal for dogs who enjoy being part of a family environment. We’re lucky to have a beautiful setup for pups: a fenced front yard/garden for safe outdoor time, plus an acre of land and nearby dog friendly trails for walks, sniffing, and exploring. Whether your dog loves playtime or prefers a slower pace, I tailor care to their needs and routine. Because I have a young child, I do require that all dogs are comfortable around children. Your dog will be treated like one of our own with plenty of love, structure, and attention so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I’m a stay-at-home mom and home throughout the day. Your dog will be part of our everyday rhythm—morning outdoor time, walks, play, rest, and evening wind-down. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care without long gaps. Throughout the week, I keep a steady routine while also adjusting to each dog’s needs, energy level, and schedule. My goal is to create a calm, predictable environment where your dog feels comfortable and cared for like part of the family. I send lots of updates and pictures and follow all care instructions carefully! I want you to feel comfortable with your pet in my care!
“Hank came home exhausted which means he had a blast. Cynthia did a great job in every Dept from communication to updates throughout the weekend. We were extremely pleased with her work.”

“First time in a while that I've had to have someone else take care of my older dog. Courtney took great care and was accommodating to our needs. Dropping off my Kali, I felt comforted knowing she was in good hands.”

“Meagan accepted my booking request to watch my dog very last minute due to a family emergency. She was available and willing to help, and she did a great job with him! She sent me pictures of him while I was gone, and he seemed very happy when we got there to pick him back up! He is totally worn out from all the playing, and he seems to have had a great time. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. They truly are a man’s bestfriend. At home I have a beautiful white lab, he is 95lbs of pure love thinking he’s a lapdog. I also have a King Charles Cavalier that is the princess of the house. She is so happy and spunky and keeps us all laughing. Previously I have owned Cocker Spaniels, other Labs and a Maltese. I started dogsitting when I was 11 years old. I had just arrived at my grandparents house and I saw this little dog wandering around and he ran right to me and I saw the owner walking towards me up the road. The puppy let me pick him up and we walked all the way to the owner. He and his wife were pilots so whenever they were flying I was working and I was ecstatic to have my first job looking after their two dogs. Through the years I’ve done Bathing, walks, feeding, medications, shots , vet trips, etc. I truly love dogs and seeing them happy, and giving their families peace of mind that their beloved pups will be well loved while they are gone. I send texts and pictures of each visit and keep in communication with the family. If you choose to trust me with your four legged family member I guarantee they will be well taken care of and loved. I am a teacher so I have Summers to offer. My Schedule throughout the school year fills up so book in advance because I also do tutoring, and nannying throughout the week. I would love to meet you and your pup. Just reach out! I will not be able to have any dogs in my home personally because of home owner restrictions. In the clients home I would provide feelings, walks, medication, or whatever else the puppy would need. If there is a history of dogfights or biting I am not the person for you.

“Madison is superb. She’s incredibly responsive and responsible. We were nervous about leaving our pups behind and concerned we might have trouble finding someone brave AND loving enough to care for the bully breed. Madison didn’t flinch and our dogs took to her immediately. She is professional, kind, punctual, caring, and will even send photos, which is incredibly thoughtful and reassuring. We won’t hesitate to rely on Madison in the future and highly recommend her services to others.”

About: As the daughter of a pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve been caring for animals from an early age. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. Those experiences reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. I’m also available for last-minute needs and those holiday plans that sometimes run longer than expected. Above all, I take this work seriously and will care for your pet with the same love I give my own. 🐾🖤 Working mainly from home allows me the flexibility to plan my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. In my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, while giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them comfortable. We can work on learning new tricks and reinforcing obedience training.
“Thank you so much for working with Nala and taking the time to try and help her with her insulin. It's not an easy task and we really appreciated all your efforts. You were great with them!”

“Amber is a wonderful pet sitter. You can feel confident that your pets are well cared for—she recently looked after several cats across two households and managed everything smoothly over the holidays. I’m very grateful for the care and attention she gave my babies and would absolutely book her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Amanda and I LOVE animals of all shapes and sizes. I have worked in animal medical centers as a kennel and doggy day care attendant, giving me valuable experience taking care of many pets at one time, including feeding and watering on a schedule, walks and play time, and administering medication. I know traveling can be stressful for pet owners (I have a dog of own) so I promise to give your pet the care they deserve, whether it be taking them on walks and getting lots of play time or just hanging out and giving them cuddles while you're away. I love getting to connect with pets while putting their owners' mind at ease. I look forward to meeting your sweet fur baby! I'm currently in between jobs, so my availability is very open. However starting around April/May, my schedule will be more limited to weekends and evenings only. I do not board pets in my own home, however in client's home I am respectful of pet and owners boundaries, following client wishes and maintaining a clean and orderly manner
About: My name is Alexis F. and I have over 15 years experience with dogs. We've had dogs in my family since before I was born but I really started training at the age of 7 with a local 4H club. In my free time I enjoy training animals in agility, obedience, and tracking. I have experience working with intact animals and managing dogs with behavior issues. I feel that every dog can be a good dog if they are set up for success. Every walk we take is considered training and they will be given a chance to use their brain to their fullest potential. During your dogs walks I offer two types of walk options. The first walk I offer is a training walk where we will spend 15 minutes working on heeling and 15 minutes allowing the dog to smell and go potty. I also offer hikes where your dog will be allowed to walk 1-4 miles over varying terrain depending on their fitness level and ability to get along with other animals. We try to follow owners daily routines the best we can when you leave your dog in our care so that transitions from house to house go as smooth as possible. I am well versed in giving medication and injections for dogs and I am happy to board dogs with special needs. I do ask that dogs are reasonably crate trained so that if they need to be left unattended for any amount of time they can remain in a crate for their safety. I am happy to discuss specific needs as far as crating goes. I am currently only working part time hours and am home most of the days. When I am not a home the pets are carefully monitored by camera in a dog safe part of the house. And given different items to keep them busy and enjoying their alone time. Whenever they have been in the crate they can expect a nice long romp around the property to give them ample time to use their nose and get a good run in. I have a fenced in small dog yard and we have a perimeter fence around our entire property allowing an additional level if security. When our on walks we make sure harnesses and collars are fit correctly and if there is a chance of a dog being a flight risk we take extra measures to prevent dogs from slipping out of collars. I am experienced in off leash trained dogs and I am happy to follow any specific instructions for what owners are comfortable allowing their dogs to do.

About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. If you think your dog is aggressive, I can and will evaluate them so that if possible, we will get them socializing with their own kind and having a great time. Thanks, have a good day! I train dogs for a living so I stay at my house 7 days a week besides when I work with clients and those lessons tend to run about an hour but no more than 2 hours! I have 9 years experience running my own kennel and have two dogs with a large fence so there will be no boredom here! I do prefer to kennel dogs for the night but as we get comfortable with each other they will start to earn more freedom! Pet care is my full time job and i wouldn’t have it any other way, it has been a blessing. I hope I can help make your schedule less stressful! While you’re away, let your dogs play! I have a five foot fenced in dog yard specifically for dogs. We also have another 5 acres that we will walk all client dogs on during their stay with us.-

I always make sure pets receive plenty of attention, are well cared for, fed on time, and given any necessary medications.

Im open to almost any schedule .Just shoot me a text. Caring for pets in my client's home involves a personalized approach tailored to each pet’s specific needs and the services I am providing. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where the pet feels secure and loved. I also follow grooming routines and administer medications as instructed, keeping a close eye on their health and behavior. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs on a farm, apartment, townhouse, etc. I have experience with many different personalities, energy levels, and breed needs I currently have two dogs of my own, a great pyrenees and a golden retriever. I’ve also worked at a veterinary clinic as a vet tech, gaining additional experiences with animal care, health needs, and proper handling. I beleive no dog should be judged by their breed or put under a general label. I focus on their body language and individual personalities, while still addressing breed needs. I currently am working 32-40 hours a week that gives me a certain level of flexibility to match your schedule. I receive my schedule every Saturday, two weeks posted at a time. I will give full transparency if there are any schedule conflicts. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, they’re your family! My goal is to always make sure both you and your pet few safe, supported, and at ease while you’re away. I do my best to follow your pet’s routing exactly the way you do at home, adjusting to whatever care instructions you prefer. I am also more than happy to provide updates as often as you’d life, whether that’s daily or hourly check-ins, photos, or videos so you can see how your pet is doing. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior, health, and surroundings, making sure they’re safe and comfortable both inside the home and in outdoor spaces. I keep information on local vets and emergency clinics on my phone. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own!
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I can remember. Grew up with livestock, normal pets too. I have experience pet sitting, dog walking, dog and cat nail trims too. I needed better work life balance than what my normal 9-5 could give me. My schedule is pretty flexible at the moment and I am looking forward to making new business relationships. I always make sure to give plenty of belly rubs( if their into that) play time and quality attention when visiting a clients home. Check water bowls before leaving. Sneak in a little treat before leaving too( If allowed)
