Both of my dogs practice loose leash walking, and I love using our walks as time to tire their brains as well as their bodies. I can give medications, including subq and other injections. And I’m working on becoming a certified trainer, but for now I do not offer training services. I work a few part time gigs that change with the seasons. About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). During each visit, I follow all instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medication, playtime, and any special care needs. I make sure pets are safe, well-exercised, and given plenty of attention and affection while their owners are away. I also pay attention to keeping the home tidy and secure—cleaning up after pets as needed, refreshing water, and making sure doors and gates are properly closed. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet and entering your home, so I prioritize reliability, respect, and clear communication with regular updates.
About: I am an animal lover, from cats and dogs, to rabbits and gerbils! I have two dogs of my own who I love to look after and spend time with. I am a responsible, caring, and considerate person who will always prioritize your comfort and convenience- and your pet’s comfort! I am a rising 3rd year college student at the University of Virginia. I have flexibility this summer, as I am taking a summer course and doing research. I am respectful of your spaces if I were to dog sit, but live in an apartment so can not offer pet boarding long-term.
About: I've had dogs my whole life, 6 in total! I currently have a Great Dane/lab mix who is a rescue. We can walk or run your neighborhood or go to a park! We can play fetch in the yard on the nice days or play inside the house on days it's too hot or raining. I can give medicines that are routine or special occurances. I can clean up any accidents left behind so you come home to a clean house after your day at work or away. I can help with training to solidify any tricks or behaviors you're trying to accomplish with your dog! I'll be sure to show your fur baby the same level of love and attention as if they were my own! I work night shift, so I am used to weird hours if needed! I am a runner so I can take your dog with me if they need a little extra exercise! I will treat your dog like they are my own! About: I currently have a 12 year old chihuahua that I’ve had since 9th grade. Growing up my mother would take in rescues and find them homes if they did not get along with my chihuahua. My mother also cleaned houses for a living and I would go along and help her, while also helping her pet sit for those same clients. I am a gentle, loving, passionate care giver for any pet in my care. I am active and always available to give a pet the care they need when their loved one is away! I am in school full-time so my schedule varies. Having an older dog, she cannot go for the long walks I would like to take her on, so let me help both of us and take your pup out to explore the world!
