“Oh my gosh! My boy Neeko had THE BEST time!!!! Cristen was great at sharing photos and videos during his 2 night weekend visit. Her communication is so good. Micheal playing out in the yard with him throwing the ball. The whole family gave Neeko lots of love as if he were their own. Once I picked Neeko up and got him home, he slept the rest of the day. He was completely worn out!! If he were a kid, I think he would be talking about his sleepover for days!!! Lol. I could not have found a more perfect family to love my baby. 🥰”
“Hillary was great. She communicated frequently and sent reassuring updates and photos throughout our week away. We have two dogs and wanted them somewhere they’d get a lot of attention and affection, which is exactly what they got with Hillary and her family. The photos showed our dogs relaxed, on walks, and often curled up in laps—clearly comfortable and well cared for. Midweek, one of our dogs had an upset stomach, and Hillary was proactive, attentive, and accommodating in handling it. She was a pleasure to interact with from start to finish, and I’m truly grateful for the care she gave our dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.

About: I am a lover of all animals. I currently have 4 goats, 10 pot bellied pigs, 5 cats. and 3 dogs and almost all of my pets are rescues. I work my full time job from home so your pet will get 24-hour care as well as lots of love and attention if over night stays are needed. I love going on walks with pets, and guarantee I can tire them out, even the most energetic of them by playing ball or any other thing they like. Plenty of time for play and walks. About: I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life from horses to bunnies I am taking care of goats chickens dogs every day as of right now would love for your fur babies to be included I work part time with a schedule I choose from so I would be able to take care of your pets anytime you needed me to do so I have lots of land plenty of leashes and space to go on walks, three friendly dogs. About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. I have also taken good care of both of my cats when i was 9 years old and help the mother of the kittens through her pregnancy at age 9 years old. About: I grew up taking care of dogs in my neighborhood as a kid and teenager. I have always had a big love for furr animals! My first kittens at my young age was two siames kittens Who had 2 litters of kittens as well as having to toy poodle dogs, that had two litters of puppies twice. About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours SUNDAY thru WEDNESDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. “Mary was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Yesterday she took care of our dogs all day during our wedding. She checked in on them three times and even delivered our dogs to our wedding venue so our brother could walk our dogs down the aisle during the ceremony. She hung out for the wedding, and then delivered them back to our hotel. She was so pleasant, followed every recommendation and request we made, and our dogs were so well cared for! She even went above and beyond walking the dogs for a long time before and after the wedding! If we lived locally in Newport News we would DEFINITELY us her again. About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.

“Oh my gosh! My boy Neeko had THE BEST time!!!! Cristen was great at sharing photos and videos during his 2 night weekend visit. Her communication is so good. Micheal playing out in the yard with him throwing the ball. The whole family gave Neeko lots of love as if he were their own. Once I picked Neeko up and got him home, he slept the rest of the day. He was completely worn out!! If he were a kid, I think he would be talking about his sleepover for days!!! Lol. I could not have found a more perfect family to love my baby. 🥰”
“Hillary was great. She communicated frequently and sent reassuring updates and photos throughout our week away. We have two dogs and wanted them somewhere they’d get a lot of attention and affection, which is exactly what they got with Hillary and her family. The photos showed our dogs relaxed, on walks, and often curled up in laps—clearly comfortable and well cared for. Midweek, one of our dogs had an upset stomach, and Hillary was proactive, attentive, and accommodating in handling it. She was a pleasure to interact with from start to finish, and I’m truly grateful for the care she gave our dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!”
