I currently have no other commitments outside of school, and I only have classes for a few hours Monday through Thursday, so I am free for most of the week to visit and care for pets. About: I spent a lot of time with pets( mostly dogs) from taking care of close friends pets. With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.

About: I have grown up with big dogs such as pit bulls and huskies and love them dearly I really love how playful and caring they are. I trained both my family pitties since they were puppies I’m currently only working 30hrs a week can board for you starting Sunday nights till early Wednesday morning have space for animals to play and run I live in a house on a 1 acre property no fences so as long as your dog is properly trained and no risk of them running away I don’t mind letting them roam free if not I can just walk them around on a leash. As for cats same difference I have a back patio to allow them to be in the sun and have fresh air and all the space they deserve

About: Hi! My name is Georgia and I recently moved to Harrisonburg a couple of months ago and am missing my furry friends! I’m a young professional in the area and also am a volunteer at the SPCA. I worked with rover while in college and had a great experience and am excited to start pet sitting again! I grew up with newfoundlands so I’m used to and know how to handle the slober, long hair, and high energy pups and kitties as well as everything in between. My nights are usually spent at home and I usually come home for lunch so there are multiple touch points they can be let out throughout the day. I am all about caring to your pets for whatever they may need, weather that be daily walks, trips to dog park, multiple feeding times you name it.
