About: I’ve lived with dogs as long as I can remember and have had a significant part in their care for about 10 years. The last 4 years I’ve been the primary caregiver for my pets. Since I was a teenager I’ve been the designated pet and house sitter for friends and family! I currently work full time but work from home two days per week. My mornings before work and evenings after work are dedicated to the pups. If necessary I am able to take a long lunch for some extra pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard where my friendly pups love to play and a puppy proofed home. Pets are welcome anywhere people are allowed, including furniture. My dog and I will treat your dog just like family during their visit. I succeeded well in training my dog on my own from house training, to off leash, to playing hide and seek, and I understand the important component of upholding and instilling any of your training while you're not present. As of June 30th, I no longer work remotely, but work very close to home. I still will have plenty of time to give your pup comfort and attention throughout the day. I am available most weekdays and weekends, but may become more limited depending on the season. I have 1 dog, a small Yorkshire Terrier who is known as Mr. President because he loves to greet and befriend each pet or person he sees, no matter the size. He is super friendly and playful and would love to be a great friend and playmate with your pup. I can easily crate your dog if needed with one you provide or with one of my own crates or expandale play pens. My yard is open, but there is plenty of space for fun. I enjoy long walks, so if your pup needs to get in multiple miles, I can make that happen. I have a multi level townhome. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the home except for the kitchen. If your dog loves the outdoors, i have a small deck and a small enclosed front balcony they can hang on. There are plenty of toys and puzzles, but you are of course welcome to provide their favorite toy.

As a full-time teacher, my weekdays follow a consistent and predictable schedule. I am available for afternoon visits after school, evening care, as well as overnight stays when needed. On weekends, holidays, and school breaks, I have more flexibility and can provide extended care, additional visits, or longer stays. This structure allows me to offer reliable, attentive pet care while maintaining clear communication and consistency for your pet. I care for pets with a focus on comfort, routine, and individual needs, whether in my home or in my client’s home. I follow each pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication, and I take time to learn their preferences and personality. In a client’s home, I respect their space while providing attentive, one-on-one care and keeping pets in a familiar environment. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and calm interactions, and I communicate regularly with updates so owners can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for.
