“This was the longest I have ever been away from Simba (8 days)…he started off slow but Priscilla took care of him as if he was her own. I appreciate Priscilla’s commitment and would highly recommend her for your pet.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.
“Constance is great! Our schnauzer was in amazing hands, and he seemed to really love his time there. We will definitely schedule with Constance in the future and refer her to anyon els who may need dog sitter support.”

“My cat is very social and is use to me working from home and being around people so he went to stay with Casandra while I was out of town for about a week. I was nervous of course, him staying in a new space but it couldn’t have gone better! Finley got lots of playtime and snuggles, and her updates put me at ease. Finley had a great time while I was away. She is great and knowledgeable with animals and she made Finley feel more than comfortable. Will definitely be booking again if needed!”

“Holli was above and beyond while watching my cats! She is so kind and responsible, and was even able to get our shyest cat to greet her! Not only did she give constant updates, but was also incredible flexible and responsive through out her stay. I can’t recommend Holli enough as I am 100% certain your pets will be in the best care! I will for sure be contacting Holli in the future :)”

I’m also comfortable handling daily care tasks like feeding routines, fresh water, and deep-cleaning litter boxes to keep your home fresh and your cat comfortable. I focus on keeping your cat’s routine as normal and stress free as possible, and I provide regular updates so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is for your cat to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for, and for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.

I do work full time M-F, however I dedicate my weekends to spending time taking Nova on longer walks and having extended play time, and she loves having guest! If you are comfortable Nova and I would love to have guest join our walks and play times!

About: I've had my babies for 3 years, and they have taught me to always expect the unexpected. I know cat's need time, and I am patient and respectful of their space. As a fellow cat parent, I am no stranger to scooping litter. Whether your cat wants to sunbathe or play with his wand toy, your pet is in safe loving hands under my care.

I am a very patient person when it comes to animals, and I have been caring for a variety of animals since I was young (they used to call my house The Zoo House) I am a full time student but with plenty of time in the evening to care for pets, and taking breaks from the books to walk or run with your dog, bring it to the park, or play with your dog so that your dog goes home tired and happy would be a perfect way to stretch my legs between study sessions. Although I do not have a yard, I am able to make frequent and lengthy walks.

About: I have been taking care of animals all my life, really. However, I have only been pet/ house sitting since I was 15 and old enough to drive myself. I am currently a full time vet assistant working at the local humane society, with 5 years of experience working at a vet clinic as an assistant. I am able to identify lameness/illness in dogs and cats and am able to administer all meds including subcutaneous fluids and insulin. I’m currently working full time at the animal shelter. My work day usually starts at 8am and ends around 3 - 4pm. It is very easy for me to “sneak” away from work and go on a quick break to let your fur babies out during any down time I have at work! As we are a humane society, everyone understands the importance of pets getting their potty breaks during the work day! I will make sure your pets have plenty of water and food to keep them happy. The first thing I do when I get to the home is let the animals out to stretch their legs and go potty. If needed, I am willing to walk the dog(s) on a leash outside to use the bathroom. Along with that, I will check the house for any accidents and gladly clean them up. As I have stated before, I am quick to realize if something is off with your fur babies, such as illness or lameness. I am a frequent flyer at the local veterinary clinics and emergency clinics nearby (thanks to working at the humane society lol), so that may help ease your mind a bit while you are away!
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, starting with the many pets I grew up with. Over the years, I’ve gained experience house sitting and pet sitting for families and friends, ensuring their pets were happy and well cared for. While I still currently house sit for those with pets, I also work on a farm, where I handle a wide range of animals daily, further strengthening my skills and dedication to animal care! I’m a college student with a part-time job, and I excel at multitasking. Spending time with animals is not only enjoyable for me but also a great way to unwind. I’m available for regular walks, house sitting, and multiple daily check-ins, as well as overnight stays. With my short work shifts and a flexible class schedule, I can easily accommodate your pet care needs. Pets' safety is always my top priority when pet sitting. Ensuring a pet’s safety in their own home requires attentiveness and preparation. I carefully follow owner’s instructions, supervise the pet closely, and make sure the environment is free of hazards. I keep emergency contacts on hand, monitor the pet for signs of stress, and am prepared to act quickly if needed. I've also worked with many anxious pets in the past so I understand that they may need a little more care and closeness. With a focus on security and comfort, I provide consistent care while keeping owners updated for peace of mind.

“Jared was exceptional. He and his daughter took in our two golden retrievers as their own and I think that’s all we can ask for as a pet parent. I would highly recommend anyone staying in the Williamsburg choose Jared as your pet sitter. We will definitely be using him again.”

“Tara and her family were amazing with my dog. As a rescue, my dog is nervous in new situations. I appreciate all the great care that she provided. My dog had a great time and she cared for her with the same level of care that I would.”

“Janel is the BEST!!! Our Nugget was taken well care of. I received daily reports and pictures with him and his new friends. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Pumpkin was in great condition when I picked her up. Jim and Barb were attentive to her needs and sent me several photos. I wasn’t worried about her and was able to enjoy my vacation.”

“Alexis was the best! We are transitioning from Boston Massachusetts to Hampton roads, and at the last minute I needed a sitter for 2 of my golden doodle boys, to move my remaining items to VA, and Alexis quickly responded and agree to Take my boyz. She took pictures and messaged me daily about much fun they were having. We definitely will utilize Alexis again! We found a sitter here in Hampton Roads! Yay!!”
