About: I spent a lot of time with pets( mostly dogs) from taking care of close friends pets. With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.

About: We have had a large cat named Snoop for many years. We adopted him from Cats Cradle in Harrisonburg as a Christmas surprise for our daughter. His original name was Kris Krinkle due to a cropped ear. Nothing better than falling asleep to the purring next to you.

About: I kind of fell into the dog sitting fun. My mom used to “sit” with every kind of being from baby to dog before it became a popular hustle. The stress of life was lowering my ability to function and every job I tried seemed to make it all worse. Enter: Dogs. I decided if I was going to make it I needed to be doing something that gave instead of took from me. Animals have helped bring me back to life in the dark. I’ve worked with puppies and older dogs. I do have a job but I’m available for boarding if pet is crate trained. When a pet stays with me we have a routine. Coffee (for me), breakfast, walk. And in the evenings we eat, play, have downtime. Water bowel is always filled and animals are always welcome on my furniture. They’re free to make themselves at home.

I’m currently working 3 days a week Thursday-Saturday as a night shift PCT at a hospital.I will be moving to part-time in August working 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays), and will have more flexibility! I am only accepting bookings on my days off and I can provide plenty of potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day! Whether your pet is more active or laid back I’ll make sure they are comfortable, safe and attended to while you’re away. When caring for your pet I will: - Give adequate potty breaks throughout the day. - Follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. -Keep litter boxes, food bowls, and water bowls clean. -Take your dog on walks (if requested). - Send regular photo and video updates so you know how your pet is doing. -Treat your home with respect by keeping it clean, locking doors and windows, bringing in packages if requested, and following any household instructions you leave. -Most importantly, make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable until you return home!
About: I have a dog and 6 cats of my own that I have rescued from the RHSPCA. I also have volunteered at our local SPCA, cleaning, and fostering pets for years. I have pet sit many times for friends and family and really enjoy it! I am currently home from college for the summer and my schedule is open anytime during the week. I am flexible and available to work with clients schedules. I know pets are happiest in their own home, so I’ll do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll follow all of your care instructions, make sure they have plenty of love, attention, exercise, and fresh water, and keep your home clean and secure while you’re away. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and stress-free.
About: I have owned animals my whole life and absolutely love working with them. I used to work at a boarding kennel/ training place and even a veterinary hospital so I learned a lot. And know how to handle all kinds of different breeds. I have two dogs of my own, so they are set on a schedule. Just as your pet would be too. I currently am a stay at home mom so my schedule is wide open. I would love to fill my time by walking or doing drop in visits with your pets! I have a huge backyard for them. I also have two dogs of my own who get along great with other dogs , so they can run and play with them.
