About: Hello all! I’d love to help you with your pet care needs. I have had pets most of my life, and am the current owner of a 3 year old chihuahua mix, and an 12 year old chocolate point siamese. I started using Rover over the summer a few years ago and have had so many amazing clients! It has also been a great experience when it comes to socializing my young pup. Before using Rover, I took care of family members pets and would find my own boarding, dog walking and drop in clients. I currently do pet sitting in addition to my full time job. I work for a high school so I get plenty of dates off including winter, spring and summer breaks. During these times I’d be home full time. Otherwise, Monday-Friday I care for the dogs when I wake up, go to work, come home and continue their care. That’s pretty much all I do. I have a fenced yard that gives my boarders (as well as my pup) plenty of room to run and play! Boarders stay on the main level of my house and are allowed on furniture, unless discouraged by owners. You are more than welcome to bring anything you think would make your pet more comfortable during their stay (ex. Beds, crates, favor toys or treats). If you crate your dog/s at night or while no one is home, I will do the same. I work full time but can balance your pets needs with my schedule. They will have a morning routine of going outside to potty and eating before I head to work. I often leave a tv on for them and I also have cameras to keep an eye on them while away. When I return home, they will have free roam from being inside to going out to the fenced yard to play and explore whenever they would like. I’ll feed again in the evenings (based on your feeding instruction of course) and eventually tuck them in for bed. :) For boarding, your pet will have access to my fenced in backyard where they can play and explore. When I’m away from the house, I can crate your pet upon your request. I leave it up to the owner! Your pet will be boarded on my main level. I NEVER leave pets outside and unattended while away from the house.

About: I am a huge animal lover! I grew up with dogs and cats and almost every pet I’ve had was a rescue. I started pet sitting my neighbor’s dogs when I was 14. I took a break for a while then started back up about 3 years ago. I have several neighbors and family friends who’s cats and dogs I take care of when their owners are away. I do have experience in taking care of pets young and old. I currently work most weekdays but I’m typically available after 1pm. Anytime a walk or play date is needed, I’m available. I have no problem with overnights or extended stays. My weekends are open as well! I have a fenced in yard if I need to bring your fur baby to my house. I have three cats who are friendly but one is a little territorial. If you have a fenced in yard, I watch your pet the whole time they are outside. I can crate your pet if need be as well. We don't often take a vacation without our dog, but the handful of times we had in the past, she was traumatized when I picked her up. She isn't crate trained and hates the little kennels at the vet and other commercial boarding facilities. Kristen's farm was like a vacation for her while we were on vacation! She loved the big open yards, having the run of the house, and being around the other dogs. Kristen is a warm, caring, responsible animal lover. It was like our old girl went to stay with a favorite aunt for a week! When I picked her up, she was dirty and tired and happy. ? Such a wonderful experience! We will always board with Kristen, as long as she can take us”
