About: Hi! I am a former cat dad for nearly 15 years and grew up with a dog, cat, and guinea pig. Unfortunately, I lost my fur baby the year before the pandemic and still miss her dearly. Now I am looking to help care for pets in the Richmond area while I am between jobs. I have been on the client side of the experience having asked friends to watch my cat as I traveled quite frequently in the latter part of her life (2012-2019) so I understand the specific needs of pet owners. For example, my cat had a kidney condition, which required an oral medication and a specific diet for the last four years of her life. I would like to care for standard pets rather than the exotic kind.
About: A life-long cat and dog owner, I have been dog walking since my freshman year of high school. After 4 years of that, I progressed to house and pet sitting and have had many experiences doing so throughout college. Following my college graduation in 2025 and while I am in graduate school at VCU, I am looking to help out any families who need someone to look after their fur babies, whether for a weekend away or a daily walk while they’re at work! About: I frequently dogsit for friends and family, and I've had my soul-dog for 5 years! She's a rescue shepherd-husky mix and has taught me SO much about training and caring for a smart, high-energy dog! She's entering her senior years and has slowed down a lot, which means I have more time in my day to care for other pups, whether it's a check-in, walk, or boarding in my home. I have a fenced front and back yard, and with my location in Church Hill, there are countless places to walk and explore. I currently work from home 95% of the time! The other 5% is a mix of working at coffee shops and going in to my work's coworking space, but I'm never away from home for more than 8 hours a day. My days are very flexible and I'm happy to work around you and your pup's schedule! I have a fenced front yard that is grassy and a shady, fenced back patio/yard that pups can run around in. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats all my life and have always had pets since I was a kid. I’m really friendly with my friends’ pets and sometimes I’m more excited to see their pets than them😂. I’ve watched over some of my friends’ pets from time to time (cats and dogs). I have experience with both small dogs and large dogs as my one dog is a miniature dachshund, and my other is a Great Dane/German Shepherd Mix. I’m in college but I have fairly big gaps in between my classes so I have time to care for pets whether it’s a walk, visit, to play, etc. I’m fairly perceptive of pet moods and, especially with cats, can tell when pets wanna be left alone or want to play. “I’m definitely a bit of a helicopter dog mom and trust very few people to watch my fur babies while I’m out of town. Peyton & Daved have cared for my high-energy Australian Shepherd puppy, Luna, on three separate occasions now, and every single time she is beyond excited when we pull up—and completely tuckered out after spending her stay playing with all of her friends. They are incredibly patient with me constantly asking for “pupdates” and always send plenty of photos and updates of Luna exploring, playing, and having fun.
