About: For the past 5 years, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends, caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Growing up surrounded by animals, I developed a natural instinct for their needs and a deep love for every wagging tail and wet nose. About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. My own dog eats a mix of wet & dry food twice a day, with one Dentastix in the morning and one Beggin Strip if he poops. I also refresh his water bowl at least 3 times a day because still water sitting there after a few hours kind of freaks me out. I also don't mind giving dogs baths, sometimes you have to if there were certain adventures, but I typically bathe my own dog once every three weeks. I live in a spacious 2-bedroom apartment, with my dog having a bed in each room! He is very spoiled, but he just takes naps very seriously. Dogs are allowed on our incredible couch, but don't worry it is vacuumed at least once a week (as well as the floors!).

I care for pets in their own home so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and any specific routines your pet is used to. During visits, I make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just companionship. I also make sure basics like fresh water, clean feeding areas, and litter boxes are taken care of. For dog walks, I focus on safe handling, appropriate exercise for your dog’s energy level, and making sure they return home happy and settled. I always send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while keeping you informed and at ease.
