She has a fully fenced in yard which was great for my younger, high energy dog to run laps around the house and get her energy out. About: I have owned dogs for the past 14 years, but have lived with and cared for them my entire life. I have reared a litter of puppies, raised several puppies to adulthood myself, and taken care of senior dogs up to the end of life. I have lived with dogs raising from 10 to 70lbs, and have fostered several dogs, including several with medication requirements and mobility issues. I enjoy casual dog training for fun, particularly with the use of hand signals, and hope to pursue certification one day. I work childcare in a family residence part time for a few hours a few days a week. About: From wolfhounds to chihuahuas, I have petsat them all! I have experience with giving medicine, assisting senior dogs with mobility, exercising, playing, feeding, and giving all the affection needed. Petsitting would be split with my workday on Monday -Wednesday. I can come in the morning, during my lunch break, and spend as much time as needed after work with your pet. Friday through Sunday I can do as many visits and walks as necessary. It is safer and better to build trust with any animal if there is a meet & greet before petsitting. This helps me know the routines of your household and shows the pets that I'm not a stranger when I come to care for them. Sticking to the routines/key words they know, engaging them with praise, play, or treats, and letting the dog/cat have space when needed - are all ways to help your pet be at ease.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats all my life and have always had pets since I was a kid. I’m really friendly with my friends’ pets and sometimes I’m more excited to see their pets than them😂. About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. We had a meet and greet to ensure our dogs got along, and I was able to meet her at her home in advance to see where my dogs would be staying. She asked thoughtful questions about my dogs' needs and made sure I had peace of mind while I was on my trip. She has a fully fenced in yard which was great for my younger, high energy dog to run laps around the house and get her energy out. My dogs have a somewhat significant age range - one is 1.5 years old and the other is 8.5, and she was able to cater to both of their activity levels to make sure they had a fulfilling experience. We will definitely work with Stacey again the next time we need dog care!”

About: I have had at least one dog all of my life. Often times more than one. Currently living with just one Lab who would love a visitor/playmate. I foster emergency overnights on rescue transports. I have been a caregiver for dogs of all ages and kinds; puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. I have grandcats I house sit for and have also taken care of chickens. I work from home with tons of flexibility. I have one adult child at home in graduate school, they have a health condition which keeps them home most days too, so your pet is never short of human companionship. I live in a great neighborhood for walks on a leash. I provide dog sitting in a one story home with a large, wooded fenced yard in central Richmond neighborhood. Great for dogs of all ages and abilities. I live with one Lab that's a large couch potato. He also likes his human to sit outside with him rather than be out there all by himself. So we spend lots of time outside together. Pets are permitted on furniture and the bed, whatever makes them feel at home. I do have a large dog crate that can be set up if needed, but only if requested as it will put your pet at ease. The most important factor is making sure your pet feels comfortable, keeping their routines and habits to lessen the stress of a new place.
