I love that she used positive reinforcement to keep Ginger inline instead of negative feedback. Ginger even escaped from her house and thank goodness Julie was able to call her back. Julie sent tons of updates via video and pictures keeping me well informed of everything going on during her stay. Ginger had ZERO separation anxiety when I picked her up and brought her back to my house. She normally has very extreme separation anxiety and I was out of town for a long time, so this was a HUGE relief for me (and Ginger I imagine as well!) Having Ginger stay in a loving home environment was so much better for her than the typical dog boarding environments. I feel like I picked up Ginger from an extended sleepover, not an exity filled environment typical to boarding. I highly recommend Julie to watch your pet!!! About: Although I don't have a pup of my own , I've loved dogs since I could walk! My grandmother and Aunt always kept their dogs around me and they became my best friends. Over the years I've cared for the pups of my friends and family. I currently work full time as a Licensed massage therapist. Weekdays are my busiest and weekends are typically when I'm free the most. I’m the perfect person to take care of your pups during your weekend getaways! I live on Bainbridge st but I know of plenty of safe spaces and trails to walk nearby. She was incredibly flexible, communicative and accommodating (I even needed to extend my trip two times at the last minute). Most importantly, she worked true magic with my cat, who is usually very standoffish with anyone other than myself and tends to shut down if I go away for any amount of time due to separation anxiety. After just a few days Ophie was letting Kelly brush her and hanging out in the main room, going about her usual routine. By the end of the trip she was actually hanging out with Kelly on the couch!! About: I have owned animals my whole life. Since I was about 8 I was always the one responsible for their care and well being. In high school and throughout college - even now I was always the one friends and family relied on to care for their pets while on vacation or otherwise out of town. I am a college graduate and currently a full time mom and you can trust that I will be nothing but professional and responsible in your home and with your beloved pets. I work part time as a household manager and have open availability except for Monday-Thursday 4pm to 6pm so I have plenty of time to walk, play with, feed and give lots of pets to your pets! My husband works from home and will also be available to let out your dog for potty breaks if I happen to be out of the house. I am completely free on the weekends as well. Our home has a lovely fenced backyard where your dog can frolic and join us in a game of fetch. We have 1 friendly terrier who would love a doggy friend! About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and I've never met a dog or cat I didn't love! My childhood dog (Macy, 120lb Leonberger) could be quite the handful on a walk but learning to control such a large dog has definitely helped me with my dog walking experience. I am now a proud cat mom of my beloved Rotisserie and spoil him rotten ♡. I have been pet sitting / dog walking since I was in high school. I have worked in homes with all types of pet situations from new born puppies to homes with seven cats! I really enjoy going on nice long walks to allow dogs to sniff and explore while getting all their energy out! I also love to sit / cuddle / play with dogs in the home or backyard! I am also experienced with reptiles having owned a beautiful bearded dragon, Celeste, for 5 years!
About: I am a musician, property manager, & ex-software dev who enjoys taking care of animals. One of my favorite experiences was caring for a small farm (dogs, cats, horses, and chickens!) in Kentucky. I love taking dogs on walks around town & to explore the river! I am committed to consistent and clear communication; I place a high value on the professional relationship between house-sitter and host. I love sending daily updates as requested. I don't work during the day, so I can accommodate feedings, med delivery, walks, and playtime all day long! I try to structure my day around the client's schedule, so that the animals don't experience a disruption in their normal routine. I love doing overnight sits for pets in the environment they are most comfortable in — their own home. I find it easy to adapt to a pet’s schedule and routine and I love exploring new places around town via walks!
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was a child and have always loved it! I am unable to have a pet at this time, so spending time with other people’s pets brings me so much joy. I’m hoping to play a part in keeping your pets active, along with myself! I currently work Thursday through Sunday, with some flexibility, depending on the week. I’m available to walk your pups in the morning on any weekday and later in the day Monday through Wednesday I currently cannot have any pets in my home, but am definitely looking to walk the pups through whatever neighborhood you live in. I’ve lived in Richmond for 10 years now and am comfortable walking pretty much anywhere!

About: Although I don't have a pup of my own , I've loved dogs since I could walk! My grandmother and Aunt always kept their dogs around me and they became my best friends. Over the years I've cared for the pups of my friends and family. I currently work full time as a Licensed massage therapist. Weekdays are my busiest and weekends are typically when I'm free the most. I’m the perfect person to take care of your pups during your weekend getaways! I live on Bainbridge st but I know of plenty of safe spaces and trails to walk nearby. My apartment is dog friendly and I will have plenty of places to walk and play with your pup. I don't have any children or other pets , so your pet will get all my love and attention!
