About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family for the past four years, in addition to caring for my own pets throughout my life. My previous dog, a Yorkie, gave me experience caring for a senior pet, including administering eye drops, following medication schedules, and managing a special diet. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for my home and Bella, and I always recommend a meet-and-greet beforehand. About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!

About: I've had dogs since I was 5 (I'm 36). Cats I never had my own-- although I am getting kittens very soon :) -- but I have pet-sit for 2 cats of a good friends for 9 years whenever he left town. I also had a neighbor with anywhere from 7-15 cats growing up, and many (but not all) of those cats loved me. I am looking to build this into a primary source of income. I have closed weekends per the default availability, but please inquire and I will do my best to make time on weekends as well. I allow them to explore my house supervised in order to feel comfortable and knowledgeable about their surroundings. I have a space in the middle of the house that will be for pet toys / chewing / napping / etc.
About: As a child, I had a small dog named Nike! She was the cutest little Shih Tzu. Having her at a young age taught me responsibility first and foremost, but it also taught me how to appreciate and be patient with animals. About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. “We were very pleased with the attention that Shannon and her family gave to Sierra. He is a very senior dog and needs a little extra loving and care. Shannon sent pictures every day and was careful to keep him cool during the hot July 4th weather. Her home is really nice and perfect for a large dog. Sierra really enjoyed Shannon's backyard. He didn't want to come home. We would recommend Shannon to anyone who want's a Rover sitter.”

“I was extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received while with Amanda and her family. Her fur babies were very welcoming to Bentley and I felt he was happy with his new friends. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space .
