About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.

About: I am a lover of all animals. I currently have 4 goats, 10 pot bellied pigs, 5 cats. and 3 dogs and almost all of my pets are rescues. Your babies will get great care and attention when I visit or stay over. I will respect and abide by any rules you personally have regarding that. I work my full time job from home so your pet will get 24-hour care as well as lots of love and attention if over night stays are needed. I love going on walks with pets, and guarantee I can tire them out, even the most energetic of them by playing ball or any other thing they like. Plenty of time for play and walks. I can administer oral or injectable meds if needed. I know I am the perfect person to love and care for your pet while you are away. You can have the peace of mind knowing they are loved and cared for as if they were part of our family. I have spent my entire life around animals! My mother raised and bred Dobermans for many years and we took in rescue dogs as fosters. I also grew up around horses and other farm animals. About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. We had a dog in the past that had medication needs and special food needs so I accustomed to caring for dogs with special needs. We are also a couch/furniture friendly family if that is something that is important to you. We do have small children but both are use to dogs and love them! We also do not have a pet of our right currently and so your dog would definitely be the center of our attention.
“I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of personal and others’ pets from an early age. I’ve worked in a nature center taking care of wild animals, including birds of prey. I’ve always had a love of animals! My husband is active -duty Coast Guard and we moved back the the area in August of last year. I have availability throughout the week to accommodate a variety of needs. I look forward to creating personal care schedules to fit each families’ needs. For my home care, I offer multiple walks each day and my own well-behaved dog and cat for social needs. We are working on an enclosed backyard space for longer, free outdoor play time! About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.

About: I have grown up with animals. Dogs and cats are at the top of the list. I've been around domesticated animals all of my life. My first kittens at my young age was two siames kittens Who had 2 litters of kittens as well as having to toy poodle dogs, that had two litters of puppies twice. I must have been about 10 so it was from then that I have been loving & caring for fur babies.. Though I do not Own a dog or a cat right now, but look forward to owning some in my future.. I currently own a guinea pig. I just recently experienced the end of a pug/fur baby end of life. I took care of the pug for his last six months of life. “Mary was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Yesterday she took care of our dogs all day during our wedding. She checked in on them three times and even delivered our dogs to our wedding venue so our brother could walk our dogs down the aisle during the ceremony. She hung out for the wedding, and then delivered them back to our hotel. She was so pleasant, followed every recommendation and request we made, and our dogs were so well cared for! She even went above and beyond walking the dogs for a long time before and after the wedding! If we lived locally in Newport News we would DEFINITELY us her again. About: I will take care of as if my own. I tend to get attached and fall in Love fast with furry friends. It’s actually called baby kitty syndrome. Like when you want to squeeze them so hard you will hurt them. Lol I need something to do with myself and make a little extra cash. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits all my life. I rescued 2 dogs, brother and sister, from the woods when they were 6wks old. They made it to be 16. I do have issues with my left leg/foot and lower back. So I won’t be able to lift more than 25lb max. I’m new to the area so this will help me to get out of my house and do something. I actually watch pets to get my fur baby fix and for a place to stay, specially when I travel. And im usually solo on my travels I will stay in your home to make things as stress free as possible for your fur babies. I will follow all your instructions and love them as my own
About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours SUNDAY thru WEDNESDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. About: Most of my experience was mostly personal with the numerous animals I had when I was growing up. But I also have experience with other friends or families' animals. About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds since I was 8! I have a sweet hound of my own. I have over a decade of experience caring for, grooming, feeding, and, training animals. I can easily adjust my day to match your pet’s routine, whether that includes early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, medication reminders, or extra cuddle time. My flexible work-from-home schedule also allows me to respond quickly to any needs that come up and gives me the freedom to focus on keeping pets comfortable, happy, and well cared for at all times. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I live in a pet-friendly apartment community with plenty of dogs and a designated dog park, which provides a safe and social environment for pets to get exercise and enrichment. I always supervise playtime at the dog park and only allow interactions that are positive and appropriate for each pet’s temperament and comfort level. In my home, I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, and any special instructions provided by owners. Pets are never left unattended outside, and I ensure doors, leashes, and gates are always secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick to their pet’s established routine to minimize stress. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet with patience, attentiveness, and the same level of care I would want for my own animals.

“Brittany was able to answer many questions and provide a meet and greet prior to watching Bean. I had already met with 5 other sitters who weren't the right fit. Brittany came prepared to also ask me questions to Better understand how to best care for Bean. Lima Bean had a great stay even with thunderstorms present which causes her the most anxiety. She was spoiled and even came home with a cute Bandana. Brittany understood how important it was for me to receive multiple updates a day that encompassed pictures. This eased my mind that she was doing well. I would definitely recommend Brittany due to her pet knowledge and friendly personality.”

They worked with him several different ways to get him to take it because my dog wouldn't follow the way he does for me at home. I apprecaited their patience and care. I received updates very quickly on the first day. After that, the updates were less frequent, but when I reached out to ask, they were quick to respond. My dog went with them happily which set my heart at ease. This was the first time I had left him with someone other than family. When I picked him up, he was glad to see me, but didn't appear to be anxious or traumatized in any way. When we visit Williamsburg again, I will definitely check with them to keep my dog again.”
