About: I have built my life around loving and caring for animals. I have been with my local SPCA for 11 years and have been president for 8 years. My family has rescued and loved many animals throughout our lives and I would like nothing more than to extend that love to your pets. I am available at all times as I have retired and most of my SPCA volunteer work is done from my home. If for whatever reason I am not going to be there I will make sure you will be informed prior to my absence and my husband is available in the rare instance I am not. I have a dog boarding facility that can house up to 17 dogs of all sizes. There is a large outdoor play area and nice cozy accommodations including indoor and outdoor runs. Dogs have access to one on one play (including private walks) as well as group play depending on your preference and dog temperament.

I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own. My friends and family relied on me to walk and feed, and watch their pets often. The last 6 months I have been taken care of a Family GoldenPoddle and I love every bit of it. About: I have taken care of pets from a very young age carrying for dogs and cats and even horses, rabbits, chickens, goats and more where I grew up in the country. Most recently I pet sat regularly in Woodlake for several families including senior pets on medication and special needs pets, overnight sits in the home and taking care of multiple animals for a week at a time. I am compassionate and kind and will follow whatever guidelines you already have in place for your kids to not back track on training. I'm currently available full-time to help your pets be happy while you're away. My schedule is flexible for boarding, drop-ins, walking and more. Otherwise they can be separated if need be in different areas of the home or crated away from one another for down time.
About: Hi! My husband and I own a farm in Amelia, VA with horses, sheep, chickens, and our cats and dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and am a complete animal lover. I work in the agriculture sector with a flexible schedule and my husband works from home full time. My schedule allows me to be home with your pets as often as they need. I have been house sitting for over 15 years and absolutely love being able to love other people’s pets like my own! My house also has a fenced in yard, and is great if your pets want to come stay with me as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, most exotic pets, horses, and any barnyard animal you could think of. We are also very experienced in senior care, and often foster for our local shelter so are used to a lot of different behaviors and dog personalities. I am available for pet sitting and farm sitting. I am looking forward to hearing from you! I have a flexible work schedule and my office is less than a mile from my home, so I can stop in often. My husband is also very experienced in animal care and works from home full time. Our dogs spend most of their day snoozing with my husband while he works. They go on 3-4 walks per day and have a fenced yard to run around. Guest dogs are treated like our own! Drop in clients can expect their dogs to be loved on and cared for as desired for 30-60 minutes per drop in.
