I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.

About: I am comfortable with all kinds of dogs and needs. I personally care for a GSD and a Heeler mix, and am comfortable with rambunctious and large dogs. Both of my dogs practice loose leash walking, and I love using our walks as time to tire their brains as well as their bodies. I can give medications, including subq and other injections. And I’m working on becoming a certified trainer, but for now I do not offer training services. I work a few part time gigs that change with the seasons. I have lots of flexibility to meet the needs of your pets. I generally do not go out of town during major holidays. “Tina was so wonderful! I was a bit nervous going in as this was the first time I was leaving my 8 month old puppy with someone that I did not know. We set up a meet and greet during which my pup, Maizy displayed some anxiety, but Tina was not deterred. She knew Maizy needed to warm up at her pace and she got some treats right away to help build up some trust! She sent pictures and really helped me feel at ease that Maizy was well cared for! About: I have been a pet owner for as long as I can remember. Being raised in a house full of pets! From birds, dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, all types of pets are welcome and I Have had experience with raising puppies from birth as well. I have had 5 liters of puppies and trained them personally and adopted them out. I am a stay at home mom, expecting my 2nd child who is due Jan 2023. I am able to up and move at any given time and flexible when it comes to walking or caring for pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood and have a area to walk the dog(s) close by. I have a home where I am able to keep a crate if needed, I am also able to have them roam the home is that is what is desired. Or can come to your home if they are more comfortable there.

I do have a crate that I could keep your pet in while I am at work (if your baby is crate trained). All animals are allowed to roam the house and sleep in the bed if that’s allowed at home!

I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: I’ve always had animals in my younger life from cats to dogs, and even though I only have a cat I continue to love dogs. My current housing situation allows me to share dog sitting and caring of his clients dogs (ages 9 months to 14 years) for the last ten years. Since then I have asked my neighbors for tending to the needs of their dogs be it from a 5 mile walk on and off leash to a 100 yard potty break in addition to giving medications. I’m currently working part time three days a week and an occasional Saturday, so I have the time to care and interact for your furry friend. I live in a neighborhood with easy access to the Rivanna trails and a road trip access to a farm with woods in Earlysville for running in fields. I also have a very tolerant cat who actually enjoys dogs staying with me because she’s learned that visiting dogs often get a treat she’s earned one too. My house has hardwood floors on the first floor throughout access to the carpeted lower level is through a door. The dog would have free range of the house while we were at home and unless he/she is accustomed to be crated.
