“Oh my word. Rebekah was a life-saver. We had a last-minute booking, and at the Meet & Greet, any fears I had were out the window. She is so friendly and welcoming that my pup ran right to her! She has a spacious yard, a spacious dedicated area for several pups to sleep and stretch and nap (complete with cozy chair), and her joy is incredible! You can tell she really loves her job and does so much to care for the pets she watches. Rebekah was so great with sending updates and pictures - we never worried about our pup at all! It was clear she was in exceptionally good hands with Rebekah! We picked up our puppy, and while she was so excited to see us, she still running up to Rebekah like she was already part of the family! Rebekah gave us a full rundown of the stay, and how much fun our pup had with her and when we got home, our puppy passed OUT from all the excitement, fun, and exercise she was able to have with Rebekah. That made our hearts so happy to know that our pup had so much fun while we were gone! We don't leave her too often because of some of her past experiences with her previous owner. Durring summer breaks I went to horse camp where we learned how to safely handle, ride, and groom horses. I occasionally take care of my neighbors chickens when they go on vacation. About: As the daughter of a pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve been caring for animals from an early age. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. Those experiences reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. I’m also available for last-minute needs and those holiday plans that sometimes run longer than expected. Above all, I take this work seriously and will care for your pet with the same love I give my own. 🐾🖤 Working mainly from home allows me the flexibility to plan my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. In my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, while giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them comfortable. We can work on learning new tricks and reinforcing obedience training.
About: I have pet-sat since I was in high school, and I have become a reliable person to care for friends' and co-workers' pets. I have pet-sit overnight many times and have cared for young and older cats and dogs. I'm a teacher, so I am currently off for the summer. I have PT 2-3 times a week and have a vacation planned in July. I can do mornings/afternoons/evenings depending on the day. A few of the dogs I cared for had an electric fence or a fenced in back yard. I have a fenced in backyard at my home and have let the family pet (who belongs to my parents) play in the area. I have taken the family pet for walks around the neighborhood, and am willing to do so, if needed. My home is also an open space, making it a safe and comfortable area for pets to enjoy.
About: Hello! I'm a huge animal lover. I know that my true calling has to do with animals! I figured I can do something I love doing so here I am! I've volunteered at a local animal shelter and I have a 5 year old pitbull/ mix whom I adore so much. Im very responsible and respectful. I'm available anytime. I'm currently unemployed due to moving but will soon become a Notary. I'm available whenever someone needs me! Rover fits perfectly in my schedule. I take my dog for a walk 3 times a day. She has her food and water bowl out and full all the time. I giver her some wet food every other day. She sleeps in her dog bed in our bedroom. We don't crate her due to separation anxiety. I give her treats twice a day. I also buy her toys every once in awhile just to make her feel special.

“Leslie is incredibly kind and attentive. She took my dog out for a lot of exercise, and kept him happy and safe while I was away. She provided plenty of photos and video updates and followed instructions to a T. She has a big backyard and comfortable looking house in a quiet neighborhood. My dog is usually pretty shy and can take a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he was right at home with Leslie. I would definitely recommend her to others, and plan to book with her again in the future.”
