We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: I have worked in pet care/home care for over a decade! I work as a dog walker for a company in Berryville, and I also work as a groomer for a Newfoundland Breeder with show dogs. Dog walking and pet care is more then simply providing the basics, I appreciate the trust that owners give when having someone provide care for there beloved animals. Respect, genuine love, trust and a building relationship goes into each pet a care for. Pet care is full time for me, and I am available weekly and in the weekends. My schedule is generally flexible and I can usually accommodate even last min requests. However I do occasionally have a fully scheduled week and any house sitting or dog sitting requests would be easier to schedule with a couple weeks notice. I do not currently have a fenced in yard, but I provide walks and potty breaks by walking on a leash as needed. I live close to 2 dog park’s and I love to take them there to burn off energy ( as long as dog parks are not an overwhelming experience and the owner agrees it is ok to visit one ), I also enjoy bringing them along as a running and hiking buddy on the several nature trails near me. If I am watching a pet in their own home, I will just keep up with the normal routine as stated by the owner, and of course always check with you to make sure any new activities we try are ok

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. Besides cats & dogs, I have also cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, hamsters, chickens, goats, and sheep! For the past two years, I have also volunteered at the SPCA in Winchester, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and care needs.
