About: I’ve grown up with many cats and dogs and have also taken care of many family members pets for many years! And I currently work at a doggy daycare which has taught me a lot about different dog behaviors and how to handle them! I’m currently working part time at a dog daycare so i’ll have plenty of time to spend time with your dogs and/or cats! My schedule is usually three days a week for about 4 hours most days but some days it will be 6 hours! I will follow any given instructions to keep your pet safe and happy! I have very good knowledge with leash safety for walks and crate safety if needed!

Both were loving, calm, and attentive caretakers of my dog- and I'm not easy to please! While staying at Jaret's, my pup came down with pink eye. Jaret was forthright and quick to let me know. He gave me options and advice on what to do, and even went as far as to contact Rover to let them know what was going on with my pup's eye. I was very pleased with how Jaret handled the situation, keeping me posted, bringing him to the vet (Jaret even researched and called multiple places around him to find the best possible care and deal) and informing me on my dog's recovery. Jaret brought him to the vet that day to get him medication. 5 days later when I came to pick up my pup, he was in tip-top shape and his happy goofy self! About: I love animals, I had so many cats and dogs. I am always there for them you won’t regret it I promise, it will be like they are home. I am doing online studies so it fits perfectly, everyday. I am free on my weekdays and also my weekends. And watch Netflix so this is perfect. Whatever is asked, will be served. I am always punctual, I listen what the owner wants and provide exactly that. It will be worth it.

About: There have also been pets in my house and I have also made myself available to pet sit for friends and family. I am flexible in when and how to care for your smallest or largest family member. I am a runner so I would love to have a buddy join me on a run, jog, or even a walk. I can care for your pup at my house or your house which ever one you would be comfortable with. At the moment I can be open anytime of the week, and visiting houses multiple times in the day to ensure that your furry friend feelings loved and cared for throughout the day. Whether that's a potty break, a snack, or a big ole tummy rub. I have a large fenced backyard and plenty of room in my house for exploring. We do have a small rescue Chihuahua, but she is friendly and very kind.

The setting is better than his last daycare which was too big and he was getting overly anxious. Karlie cares for another dog and has two of her own plus a cat so the place is calmer than the last one. Karlie and her family are all very nice and seem to like having Jimmy there. I will take him back whenever I require daycare for him. I just wish I was not moving out of the area soon and will no longer be able to take him there. At least we found Karlie at the end of our time in Vinton.”

My sister and I would take shelter dogs out for the day and bring them to the beach, on long walks, car rides, basically just let them have a full day outside of the shelter. That experience taught me a completely different level of dog care than I was used to from simply caring for my grandmother’s dog, Lulu. I learned how to recognize when a dog is uncomfortable, when to give them space, and how to work with their individual boundaries instead. Shelter dogs taught me that no two dogs are the same, and caring for them isn’t something to take lightly. I’ve also volunteered at the Staten Island Zoo for 2 years and have had animals around me my entire life. My pets back home in New York include my 8 year old cat Nemo, a blue tongued skink, bearded dragon, gecko, gerbils, tortoise, pixie frog, and more. My sister and I grew up going to animal expos, so I’ve had experience being around and caring for many different kinds of animals. Because of that, I’m very comfortable around animals, but I also know that being comfortable doesn’t mean ignoring their boundaries. I want to know their routine, personality, triggers, habits, favorite things, and anything else that helps them feel safe and comfortable. The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them! I’m a Virginia Tech student with a pretty open class schedule. Classes usually take up only about two hours of my day, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet. I’m happy to take dogs on long walks and give them lots of time outside if that’s what they enjoy. When we’re home, they’ll have my attention too, whether they want to play, relax together, or just have someone nearby. I live at The Hub, which is a pet friendly community with its own dog park and plenty of outdoor spaces for walks and potty breaks. I’d only use the dog park if it’s empty. I’m also happy to skip it completely if that’s what you prefer! I’d follow whatever routine your dog is already used to and keep things as normal and comfortable for them as possible while they’re with me!

However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!
