“This was my first time boarding my Aussie, and I was honestly a bit nervous — but she did an amazing job reassuring me from the start. She made the whole process feel easy and stress-free, which I really appreciated. I was especially worried because she has three dogs, and my Aussie can get a little overwhelmed. But she handled introductions perfectly — slow, one at a time — and my dog adjusted way better than I expected. Fast forward to pickup time… I think my dog may have forgotten who I am Not only was she completely comfortable, but she had already decided that the husband was her human now (and she normally reserves that level of love for my own husband). About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me for most of my life, from growing-up on a farm in Maryland to working large animal husbandry at the Virginia Tech Veterinary School to sharing a 1-bedroom studio with two cats in Roanoke City, and I’ve always loved all animals. All! Right now, I have one dog and three cats of my own, and they are very much part of my family. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I enjoy walks, playtime, and just hanging out with them and giving them attention. About: I have had the pleasure to take care of animals my whole life. After going to boot camp I realized how much animals actually give you peace of mind on a daily basis and I have taken care of neighbors animals and family ever since. I have plenty of space for animals of all sizes and a fenced in yard for dogs who need to run. I love to go on walks as I am very active and have to keep my 2 mile up always. I am also very patient for kitties who just want to lay around and sleep. If given the opportunity I would love to spend my time with the animals you love. I am in the national guard so I work 1 weekend a month and the rest is free! I am currently trying to make animal sitting an everyday thing so I can work out any times needed. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space inside as well. I have a doggy door for smaller dogs but I can let the bigger ones out just as easily. “This was my first time boarding my Aussie, and I was honestly a bit nervous — but she did an amazing job reassuring me from the start. She made the whole process feel easy and stress-free, which I really appreciated. I was especially worried because she has three dogs, and my Aussie can get a little overwhelmed. But she handled introductions perfectly — slow, one at a time — and my dog adjusted way better than I expected. Fast forward to pickup time… I think my dog may have forgotten who I am Not only was she completely comfortable, but she had already decided that the husband was her human now (and she normally reserves that level of love for my own husband). At one point, he was petting one of his own dogs, and mine started whining like, “Excuse me?? That’s MY attention.” The jealousy was very real. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was young. They always bring me joy! I have energy, love, and patience for each puppy:) I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time with your sweet fur baby! I’m available for boarding on weekends and walks in the middle of the week. I have a large outdoor pen with some yard but they are allowed indoors. I have two very sweet dogs to keep yours company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
