“I wanted to take my dogs to Shannon last year, based on her profile alone. She has experience with senior dogs and dogs with disabilities. I can't remember if I didn't take the vacation or she just wasn't available for the dates I needed but, I didn't use her last year. This year, I needed a sitter for 3 nights as I was going out of town. She took care of my little beagle, Buddy and my golden doodle, Toby. I've had both of these dogs for less than 3 months. When I took them to visit her before the vacation, they took to her and her household immediately so I felt very secure leaving them 2 days later when I went on vacation. My niece also left her little Aussie dog with her as well. Shannon sent lots of pictures of the dogs and descriptions of their activities each day! She let us know if they weren't eating and she gave her input and thoughts as to why they were doing or not doing something unusual. She gave me and my niece both peace of mind and that's the number one thing we needed from a dog sitter. We could tell that she loved on our dogs just as if they were her children and we loved it. About: Hi! My name is Lisa and I've grown up with dogs my whole life. My parents owned a farm so I've always been used to animals and couldn't imagine my life without them! I've volunteered at the SPCA multiple times and own a 5 year-old Labrador retriever and 5 year old Golden retriever. They’re the sweetest boys and love to play with other dogs. I'm reliable and animals have my heart so i give them the best possible care :) I am home full time and I have a big yard where the dogs can run and play as well as a big basement where we can relax. In addition to training puppies I have patience and enjoy working with senior animals.
