“What can I say about Connie that hasn't already been said by all of her happy clients! Connie boarded our dog, Willow, for over two weeks during the holidays while we were out of town. During Willow's stay, we got photo updates everyday and Willow had such a great time playing with all the dogs! Nearing the end of Willow's stay, we were traveling back to VA and got hit with flight delays and cancellations so there was no way we'd be able to make it home in time for pick up. It was a very stressful situation for us, but Connie was incredibly understanding and flexible, and it felt so comforting to know that Willow was taken care of while we were handling all these other logistics of getting home. I cannot say enough about the peace of mind Connie provided us. When we finally made it back to Virginia, our area got hit with a snowstorm, which led to highway closures and loss of electricity over several days. It was truly one thing after another! Connie's priority at the time was everyone's safety so she kept Willow for an additional day until the roads were cleared. There are not enough words to describe Connie's high level of service and understanding. And as always, Willow was VERY tired and all played out by the time we finally got home! We are so grateful to Connie for helping us and will always, without hesitation, recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: I’ve always had pets in the house for as long as I can remember , I have 3 dogs of my own as well as 2 bunnies. I also take care of other people’s dogs from time to time. I love animals and I always get along with them well , I know each animals needs is unique and am willing to do exactly what they need! I can always find time for the animals! I do community college right now and only one class in person so my schedule is very flexible ! I have very energetic animals so them being jumpy or a little crazy will not scare me off whatsoever . From puppies to senior animals I am definitely able to provide the care they need!
About: We provide care in our home and treat your babies like our own. We walk them multiple times a day, love on them, take them on field trips when possible, we spoil them rotten. We can help with crate training, potty training, house Manners etc. We have experience with Senior dogs ( most recent passed this December 2024 at 15 years old). I have had diabetic pets so am willing to administer meds as required. I have volunteered with a local rescue for 4 years now and have fostered for that long as well and have experience dealing with many difficult behaviors like resource guarding, counter surfing and more. Here at Bark n Kuddles we are a husband and Wife team so our dogs are very rarely alone. I teach high school so during the school day my husband takes the pups on walks, and outings and provides play time and snuggle time. When I am home we share the responsibilities and our kids are trained so they love on your babies too but they know boundaries and are very good at being mini pack leaders. The only time your pet would be alone is if we had to go somewhere as a family where dogs could not come but we have two pups of our own to keep them company but again that is rare that someone is not home. We only take one or two clients at a time as we have a small home but we take the dogs out on walks (Distance depends on the dogs need but could be 2 to 3 miles easily) and I have access to a big fenced in yard that my family owns should dogs need off leash time and play time (under our watch at all times of course). We do crate dogs when home alone for their safety and to protect the house but they get yummy kongs with frozen treats and other treats as long as owner is ok with it. We love on them how the pups want to be loved on. If they want to lay next to us we let them. If they prefer to just chill off to the side that's all good too. We also follow all owners instructions whether in our home or yours and give your baby the attention they need to keep them happy and safe while you are gone.
About: Growing up, I've become no stranger to a house full of pets. In the past 15 years as a pet owner, I’ve dealt with it all from those early puppy crazy days to gentle senior care. You can rely on me to feed, walk, and play with your pets. About: I have had family pets my entire life. I currently have one pup at home, and often take care of family and friends’ pets while they are out of town! I work from 8 to 3, and am available to take care of pets before and after work on weekdays. My weekends are completely free and I stay local for holidays! About: I have had about 9 years of dog care with one big pup and one little. When I was very young my sister and I started a dog walking company throughout our neighborhood, so I guess you could say I have always loved being around dogs/animals. Throughout the years we have had all different types of animals from Nigerian Uromastyx Lizards to kitties/dogs and hamsters. I think that animals are very special because they stick with you through thick and thin. There is no better type of love than the love of an animal. “What can I say about Connie that hasn't already been said by all of her happy clients! Connie boarded our dog, Willow, for over two weeks during the holidays while we were out of town. During Willow's stay, we got photo updates everyday and Willow had such a great time playing with all the dogs! Nearing the end of Willow's stay, we were traveling back to VA and got hit with flight delays and cancellations so there was no way we'd be able to make it home in time for pick up. It was a very stressful situation for us, but Connie was incredibly understanding and flexible, and it felt so comforting to know that Willow was taken care of while we were handling all these other logistics of getting home. I cannot say enough about the peace of mind Connie provided us. When we finally made it back to Virginia, our area got hit with a snowstorm, which led to highway closures and loss of electricity over several days. It was truly one thing after another! Connie's priority at the time was everyone's safety so she kept Willow for an additional day until the roads were cleared. There are not enough words to describe Connie's high level of service and understanding. And as always, Willow was VERY tired and all played out by the time we finally got home! We are so grateful to Connie for helping us and will always, without hesitation, recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”
