She provided plenty of photos and video updates and followed instructions to a T. She has a big backyard and comfortable looking house in a quiet neighborhood. My dog is usually pretty shy and can take a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he was right at home with Leslie. “This was our second time using Jaime, Mike and their family, and once again they took exceptional care of our dog. They gave her so much love, attention, and affection, and the daily updates and photos were wonderful. It was clear from every picture that she was having an amazing time and truly living her best life! Our dog has IVDD, so we have to be careful about limiting jumping and protecting her back. They were incredibly accommodating with the extra equipment we brought, including stairs for the sofa and a gate to block access to stairs. Their willingness to help us maintain her routine and keep her safe gave us tremendous peace of mind. Mike even took the time to repair the broken dog crate we brought, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. We are so grateful to have found such a caring, attentive family to look after our sweet girl. We would absolutely recommend them and will continue to book with them in the future!”

Bruno has a daily skin care routine and requires medications, and Richard handled everything perfectly. By the time we picked Bruno up, his skin honestly looked better than when we dropped him off. Richard is clearly experienced and confident administering all types of medications, including injections, which gave me a huge sense of relief and comfort. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with a dog that has medical needs, but I felt completely comfortable leaving Bruno in his care. We had daily updates which put our minds at ease You can tell Richard genuinely loves dogs. Bruno got constant attention, enjoyed his backyard, and clearly loved spending time with Richard and his family. “What an amazing experience! From the very beginning Kristen was so helpful! This was our very first experience using Rover, and also our first experience with leaving our precious Furbaby in someone else’s care! We drove all the way from Florida to visit Washington DC and unfortunately we were not able to bring Eleanor with us to the Smithsonian museums! Lol! So we were in need of someone to take care of her while we were sightseeing and I am so thankful that we found Kristen and her beautiful farm! We left Eleanor at the farm for three days, and it seems like she had a blast! About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs as well as having my own dogs as an adult. Sadly, my pup passed away earlier this year and while I am not ready to get another dog of my own, I am excited to help care for yours and give you peace of mind while you are away. I have had little and big dogs in my life and am open to all sizes. Your dog does need to get along well with children as my kids love to play with dogs. They are also used to having a senior dog around as our dog aged so they also know when to give a dog space and be gentle. I work from home most days and your dog will have free rain of our house. We also have a beautiful nature trail right behind our neighborhood. I love to spend time playing or just chilling and petting/loving on your dog. We do have stairs so your dog needs to be comfortable on stairs or small enough to carry. I will follow whatever your food/med/walk routines are.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was able to walk. I was raised up on a farm caring for numinous animals from cows to baby bunnies. I love all animals especially dogs because, they were my first best friends growing up. I am a college student majoring in the medical field who has all virtual classes giving me a lot of extra time at home. When I am not doing homework I love to go on walks and exercise. I bring my dog along with me everywhere and I would love to bring yours too! I live on a large farm overviewing the Blueridge mountains. The backyard is multiple acres and very open. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 23. I love to pet and feed them. I treat dogs as part of the family. I am home full time and have plenty of time to care for dogs that need care. I also have two dogs of my own. We start our day at 6:30AM. I prepare and feed the dogs at 7AM, 12:00PM, and again at 5:00PM (If they are hungry). I let the dogs run in the yard for 30 minutes, after each feeding, i when the weather permits. We walk in the mornings, rhen again in the evenings. Dental treats and regular treats are given daily.

About: I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up my family has always had a least 2 pets, even having 15 at one point. My love for animals has run deep in me since I was a child, which is why I am currently a pre veterinary student at the College of William and Mary. I have experience training puppies including potty training, assisting senior pets, and providing a full and fun life for all animals. I have previously worked at multiple equestrian training facilities and farms, so I understand how to handle larger animals. I am versed in problem solving and strive to make all pets feel safe and happy. I am currently working part-time, so I have a flexible schedule to care for your animals. I care for my pets on a daily basis so I am always improving my skills and knowledge about the best care practices. I understand every pet and home is different so I try to cater the care to each client, however there are a few things that will always stay the same. First I always ensure I understand the pets feeding and bathroom schedule. This is vital to ensure the happiness and health of all pets. Second I try to make your pet as comfortable with me as possible. Sometimes new people can be scary, so I would allow your pet to make the first move and establish their level of comfort. I find this creates a level of trust and care between me and your pet. Third I follow any specific instructions given by you, the owner. The families always know their pets best, so following their directions helps ensure your pets safety and comfort.

“Leslie is incredibly kind and attentive. She took my dog out for a lot of exercise, and kept him happy and safe while I was away. She provided plenty of photos and video updates and followed instructions to a T. She has a big backyard and comfortable looking house in a quiet neighborhood. My dog is usually pretty shy and can take a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he was right at home with Leslie. I would definitely recommend her to others, and plan to book with her again in the future.”

“This was our second time using Jaime, Mike and their family, and once again they took exceptional care of our dog. They gave her so much love, attention, and affection, and the daily updates and photos were wonderful. It was clear from every picture that she was having an amazing time and truly living her best life! Our dog has IVDD, so we have to be careful about limiting jumping and protecting her back. They were incredibly accommodating with the extra equipment we brought, including stairs for the sofa and a gate to block access to stairs. Their willingness to help us maintain her routine and keep her safe gave us tremendous peace of mind. Mike even took the time to repair the broken dog crate we brought, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. We are so grateful to have found such a caring, attentive family to look after our sweet girl. We would absolutely recommend them and will continue to book with them in the future!”

“What an amazing experience! From the very beginning Kristen was so helpful! This was our very first experience using Rover, and also our first experience with leaving our precious Furbaby in someone else’s care! We drove all the way from Florida to visit Washington DC and unfortunately we were not able to bring Eleanor with us to the Smithsonian museums! Lol! So we were in need of someone to take care of her while we were sightseeing and I am so thankful that we found Kristen and her beautiful farm! We left Eleanor at the farm for three days, and it seems like she had a blast! Kristen was great with communicating even though I was a little neurotic about checking on Eleanor, she had no hesitation with reassuring me that Eleanor was in good hands, and well taken care of!
