“Best. Sitter. EVER. I've tried and been happy (or not) with many boarders, but Jody goes way above and beyond. She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”

About: I love all animals. I have watched neighbors & friends/ family’s fur babies. I will take your fur baby on walks and to dog parks. I am available Monday threw Sunday at any time after 8am. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I helped my childhood dog with her liter and one of her puppies was my best friend until he crossed the rainbow bridge a year ago. I currently have a sweet loving 9 year old black lab and a fun 3 year old labradoodle. I’m a stay at home mom who homeschools as well and play outside a lot with my children and my dogs. “Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”

I am looking to assist you by taking your pup or pups for a dog walk late am to early afternoon. Usually available Tuesdays thru Thursdays. I will usually double leash on dog walks. I am very aware of my surroundings when walking dogs and have many years experience in caring for animals.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was four years old. In the last five years I have traveled the country and dog/house sat in 8 states for neighbors, friends, family, and friends of. I have had experience in puppy training and working with dogs of all ages and size. I will treat your dog as if it were my own best friend! I am responsible and reliable and if I am free I will help as soon as possible! I like to provide fun updates to owners about the adventures their dogs and I have. Warning: You may come home to your dog wanting to go home with me. I work remote so my schedule is wide open as far as availability is concerned.. If that changes I will communicate it. If I am with your dogs they are my first priority. I am laid back and very flexible. I take the care of your best friend very serious. I try to keep your dog on the same schedule that you keep them on, although they may get longer walks and more belly and shoulder rubs with me.

I’ve house sat in the past that helped me to learn all I can about different breeds. I’m willing to travel anywhere from Danville, Martinsville, and Lynchburg. I work full time but with my schedule it is very flexible after 12pm. If all goes well would love to make this a full time opportunity. “Best. Sitter. EVER. I've tried and been happy (or not) with many boarders, but Jody goes way above and beyond. She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”

Did not appear overly hungry or thirsty when we brought them back home telling me they were given plenty of food and water.
