“I couldn't be happier with Alexia & Jay - they are my go-to sitters now! I tried Rover once before; I selected a house sitter, and the person indicated she was staying, but I don't think she spent much time here; there was little sign of her living here and my cat was hysterical and needy when I returned. A young couple for house sitting is a good idea - they won't get lonely or bored by themselves. They were personable, responsible, and responsive, with good communication. They sent me lots of videos every day of my cat being content and entertained. My cat tends to be afraid of men, but she warmed right up to Jay, he was good with her. When I got home kitty greeted me as if I had only come home from the grocery store; she had been well taken care of. Alexia and Jay left the house clean and tidy. I offered to pay them extra for various chores around the house while they were sitting. They were happy to do them, and did a great job. I came home to a house better than how I'd left it. About: I grew up taking care of cats. The cat’s names that I grew up with are baby boy, Willow Jasper, and Bella sparkles. Is a gray tabby, Willow is a serval mix, and baby boy was a chunky black cat. I love them all and miss them dearly. To top it off, when our AC went out due to a tripped breaker, she noticed right away and fixed it so our cats wouldn't get overheated!! About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. Dog sitting allows us to share that love while giving your pup the attention and care they deserve. Because I work from home full time, your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large single-family home with lots of space to relax. There’s a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, as well as a spacious front yard — but please know your dog will never be outside unsupervised. In our home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the couch and even in the bed for snuggles at night if that’s what they’re used to. My boys love giving extra attention, playtime, and belly rubs — always guided by what your dog is comfortable with. Our family truly adores and respects animals, and we will care for your dog as if they were our own — with patience, structure, affection, and lots of love. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home full time. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and regular potty breaks as often as needed. Your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. We go on at least one walk every day, and I’m happy to adjust the length or pace depending on your dog’s age and energy level. During the school year I will have to leave to take/pick up my little from preschool. Otherwise I'm home all day. I have my own (not spoiled, well loved) dog that is able to go outside whenever he wants and sleeps whenever he wants. Your dog will enjoy their vacation here with me. I treat all dogs as if they were my own furbaby. I give them lots of belly scratches and snuggles. All dogs will need to get along well with children. I can let them out as often as needed. I have a large fenced yard that's great for getting zoomies out and a deck that's great for sunbathing. I'm a stay at home Mom so I'm able to accommodate my schedule to fit each dogs needs. There is almost always someone at home to snuggle with your fur baby. I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I also have a variety of crate sizes for any dog that needs one. I do NOT crate any dog unless the owner tells me too.

He is a bit anxious but A&C we’re very understanding and knew how to manage his behavior and make him feel comfortable. Our dog is on the smaller side and he was in a house with bigger dogs, but they all took their time before I left him to make him feel acclimated with his new daycare mates. I would definitely recommend these folks, they have a great professional demeanor and are very communicative and welcoming. Their space was clean and their dogs seemed very happy and healthy! About: I have 7 dogs at my house and been around animals my whole life we have 3 cats as well and chickens! I love taking cares of any time of animal you just need teach me! I am available anytime in the afternoons ranging from 12:30pm-9pm. From the time I wake up to the time I go to bed I usually am taking care of my animals but I can always fit in time for yours too! I will offer to feed your pets, buy treats, little bit of exercise and playing, I will make sure they have everything they need and make sure they don’t get into any trouble the best of my ability. About: Hi, I'm restarting my animal care business. I want to ensure a stimulated experience with a swift pace and consistent disciplined walking style of what I like to refer to as "nose to toes," where the dogs stay no further than my toe, to my sides, or behind me. I also have experience with aggressive dog behavior, so if a single walk is necessary, I can do that. I have been in the animal care business for as long as I can remember, and I know Fairlington very well since I grew up here. I now live in Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. I will be able to track my walks with a phone app that will track your dog's walking pace, distance traveled, and the route we take. I usually do pack walks of 3-5 dogs depending on size, but I can do singles if needed. I'm also able to cat-sit/dog-sit and care for exotics and birds (no insects). I'm flexible because I have my own cleaning/organizing/declutter business. I wake up however early dog might need be let out or pet given meds, and give at least 3 long 30min-hour walks depending on the energy level and few let outs throught the day if needed for young pups or older if bladder is sensitive. Plenty of loves and can work on training or stimulated play time with toys and puzzles. I will be professional and not have any guests over ever, and always keep doors locked when not there and if plants need care I can help with watering. I have 4 animals myself so it's pretty automatic to just add another pet cuz I've cared for multiple animals at a time or drop in visits when needed throughout my day. Whatever the fmaily requests for schedule when to feed, medicate(if needed), amount of walks and play time needed to make sure they're healthy and stimulated. Whenever they're ready for bed, crate if needed requested by parents, and make sure they go outside(dogs) to ensure no accidents throughout the night. I give them just as much love and attention and play as my own. And feed round same schedule unless instructed otherwise. Giving exercise and play time when needed. And kept to routine of crating if owners instruct.

I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. I'd say I have a deep caring nature when it comes to all living things from puppies, cats, dogs big and small, turtles, fish, hamsters, plants, you name it! I am currently working a part-time job, so I have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends/family! My schedule varies from Monday to Friday. On days I work, I am available any time after 5pm and on days I don't work, I am available any time during the day and night. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times

We knew from the meet and greet that Kelly was a great fit. She has a huge fenced in yard that must of felt like a dream for our puppy. She also provided daily update photos, and it looked like our dog was having the best time in each one. Kelly accommodated our late pick up, even when we weren’t sure if we’d get there in time due to flight delays. We left our pups there for 2 weeks and they were clearly in great hands. We will be sure to use Kristen again!”
