“They were wonderful with my sweet Minerva! I got regular updates on how she was doing and they were so very kind. After an unexpected extra day of being gone, they even kept her an extra day happily. There was the cutest outside and inside area the pups had free access to. It wasn't like a kennel where she was cooped up all day. She had play time and fun with the other pups. She didn't even want to leave. As we were leaving, she kept pulling on her leash back to Brooke. This is a dog who doesn't pull on leash without being exceptionally sure of what she wants. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They also allow you to see the area the pups are kept before you book which was great!”

“I booked Chris to watch over my disabled pup while I was away for a week. Not only is Chris a wonderful, kind, and polite person but he was also attentive to my boy’s every need. Chris maintained the strict schedule I gave him including daily medications and ample playtime to ensure my dog was happy and healthy while he was away from my care. Chris was responsive to my messages and even sent picture updates completely unprompted. I was never left wondering how my pup was doing because Chris went out of his way to constantly update me. After seeing the property Chris resides on, I was comforted to know that my dog would have plenty of room to run around and get his energy out. Chris’s own dogs were friendly and very excited to meet a new friend which I viewed as a great opportunity for my own dog to increase his socialization skills. About: My first cat was named Jasper. He was a tiger stripe American shorthair with Jasper colored eyes (hence his name). He was a stray we took in, and we noticed he had a slight limp. After a visit to the vet, and some x-rays were taken, it was clear his left hip had been injured when he was younger (vet approximated his age to be 10 at the time). I cared for him while he had his cone, after his leg was amputated (poor guy!), ensuring he received the proper medications on time. My second cat was an all-black stray (not sure his breed), but I named him Kuro. I had him for a year and some change and gave him to my friend after moving to a pet-free community. I missed having a cat, so I searched and found Naruto, who was only 10 days old, and I adopted him on the spot! I've taught him all his little quirks, including back-talking lol! I trained him to come at the sound of a particular whistle, to jump up on something after I tap, or scrape it in a certain pattern, and taught him to play fetch! I am able to administer medications Intravenous, or Sub-q, as well as advise on best care practices!

About: I absolutely adore animals. I have four children who are also huge animal lovers so if you board with us in home your pet will be absolutely doted on. Pet parents will be hard pressed to find a family that will take better care of your pet or give them as much love and attention. I love being outside and going on long walks and would love to accompany your dog on their daily walk. We have a tremendous amount of time to play with your pet, take them on walks, and give them the attention they not only require but also deserve. We have a decent sized fenced in yard which is perfect for lots of play time! We are very attentive to animals and have experience giving medication including shots.

I started working at a kennel at age 22 with tasks such as bathing, walking, training and playtime supervision. I was in charge of 15 dogs at a time. About: Hi! I’m Cami, and I live in Fredericksburg with my husband, daughter, and our two cats. I’m a preschool teacher and have been caring for pets since I was 12 years old. Over the years, family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they’re away. About: Hi! Taking care of animals has always been an enjoyment of mine. From helping lost or hurt animals to watching over pets, I'm always willing to take care of any animal. I regularly take care of stray cats and even took in a young pregnant one who needed the help. This resulted in me now having a bunch of kitties, they are all such sweethearts with their own personalities that I can't imagine life without them! About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. About: Hi! My name is Lessette. My fiancée and I Dustin have been caring for dogs for as long as we can remember, we truly adore all animals. While I’m new to the Rover app, I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and treat every pup as if they were my own. We are open to onboarding dogs and currently have two of our own: Tank, a 3-year-old French Bulldog, and Beau, a 1-year-old Bernedoodle. We’ve had our dogs since they were puppies and have trained them to be well-mannered, social, and comfortable around other dogs in a variety of settings. Please make sure your pup is fully vaccinated, potty trained (for the most part, we understand accidents may happen: especially in a new environment), non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs! We provide a loving, structured, and fun environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. I’m more than happy to take your pup to the dog park (with approval) and can also help with transportation to and from vet visits or appointments as needed. Your dog will be treated like family while in our care! Our large, fully fenced backyard is regularly trimmed and well maintained to support a clean, pest-conscious outdoor environment. About: I worked at an animal hospital for 5 years out of high school. I just love animals overall. They’re family so they should be treated as such. I work from home on my on business so my time is very flexible. I can usually make arrangements pretty quickly if anything should come up. I have a big living area, and a 1 year old poodle girl who loves to play. If your pup needs it, I also have a family sized crate. Plenty of comfortable blankets and toys all around. For potty time we can either go outdoor or indoors on puppy pads.

About: I been around dogs and cats my whole life. I been housesitting for family and friends for the last 5-6years. My grandmother’s pets are on a strict schedule, and diet therefore I understand strict diet. I’ve worked on a farm so I have experience with farm animals, small pets, and some exotic animals. “They were wonderful with my sweet Minerva! I got regular updates on how she was doing and they were so very kind. After an unexpected extra day of being gone, they even kept her an extra day happily. There was the cutest outside and inside area the pups had free access to. It wasn't like a kennel where she was cooped up all day. She had play time and fun with the other pups. She didn't even want to leave. As we were leaving, she kept pulling on her leash back to Brooke. This is a dog who doesn't pull on leash without being exceptionally sure of what she wants. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They also allow you to see the area the pups are kept before you book which was great!”
