“What can I say about Connie that hasn't already been said by all of her happy clients! Connie boarded our dog, Willow, for over two weeks during the holidays while we were out of town. During Willow's stay, we got photo updates everyday and Willow had such a great time playing with all the dogs! Nearing the end of Willow's stay, we were traveling back to VA and got hit with flight delays and cancellations so there was no way we'd be able to make it home in time for pick up. It was a very stressful situation for us, but Connie was incredibly understanding and flexible, and it felt so comforting to know that Willow was taken care of while we were handling all these other logistics of getting home. I cannot say enough about the peace of mind Connie provided us. When we finally made it back to Virginia, our area got hit with a snowstorm, which led to highway closures and loss of electricity over several days. It was truly one thing after another! Connie's priority at the time was everyone's safety so she kept Willow for an additional day until the roads were cleared. There are not enough words to describe Connie's high level of service and understanding. And as always, Willow was VERY tired and all played out by the time we finally got home! About: My first cat was named Jasper. He was a tiger stripe American shorthair with Jasper colored eyes (hence his name). He was a stray we took in, and we noticed he had a slight limp. After a visit to the vet, and some x-rays were taken, it was clear his left hip had been injured when he was younger (vet approximated his age to be 10 at the time). I cared for him while he had his cone, after his leg was amputated (poor guy!), ensuring he received the proper medications on time. My second cat was an all-black stray (not sure his breed), but I named him Kuro. I had him for a year and some change and gave him to my friend after moving to a pet-free community. I missed having a cat, so I searched and found Naruto, who was only 10 days old, and I adopted him on the spot! I've taught him all his little quirks, including back-talking lol! I trained him to come at the sound of a particular whistle, to jump up on something after I tap, or scrape it in a certain pattern, and taught him to play fetch! I am able to administer medications Intravenous, or Sub-q, as well as advise on best care practices!

I’m able to walk for however long a pet needs and I’m able to remember when a pet needs to be taken out or fed. I’m also able to adapt easily if the pet has any conditions or disabilities that I need to accommodate to. I’m always available at any time whether it’s mornings or nights. So I am pretty flexible!! If something doesn’t work i’ll just make that clear but I do not have many scheduled things in my day to day. I don’t mind doing feeding, walking, play time! Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.

About: I worked at an animal hospital for 5 years out of high school. I just love animals overall. They’re family so they should be treated as such. I work from home on my on business so my time is very flexible. I can usually make arrangements pretty quickly if anything should come up. I have a big living area, and a 1 year old poodle girl who loves to play. If your pup needs it, I also have a family sized crate. Plenty of comfortable blankets and toys all around. My grandmother’s pets are on a strict schedule, and diet therefore I understand strict diet. I’ve worked on a farm so I have experience with farm animals, small pets, and some exotic animals. “What can I say about Connie that hasn't already been said by all of her happy clients! Connie boarded our dog, Willow, for over two weeks during the holidays while we were out of town. During Willow's stay, we got photo updates everyday and Willow had such a great time playing with all the dogs! Nearing the end of Willow's stay, we were traveling back to VA and got hit with flight delays and cancellations so there was no way we'd be able to make it home in time for pick up. It was a very stressful situation for us, but Connie was incredibly understanding and flexible, and it felt so comforting to know that Willow was taken care of while we were handling all these other logistics of getting home. I cannot say enough about the peace of mind Connie provided us. When we finally made it back to Virginia, our area got hit with a snowstorm, which led to highway closures and loss of electricity over several days. It was truly one thing after another! Connie's priority at the time was everyone's safety so she kept Willow for an additional day until the roads were cleared. There are not enough words to describe Connie's high level of service and understanding. And as always, Willow was VERY tired and all played out by the time we finally got home! We are so grateful to Connie for helping us and will always, without hesitation, recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”
