About: I've watched dogs and cats with all different personalities and needs (i.e. blind, diabetic, anxious, etc.). I believe in understanding a pet's needs from the perspective of the pet and responding with compassion. I work full time, but can usually work from home if needed. I will talk with you before we commit to pet sitting to ensure my schedule works for your needs (if that's getting off early, working from home every day during the time of the sitting, going home over lunch for a walk, etc). I have no fur babies (or kids) of my own, so your babies will get my undivided attention and I will shower them with all the love I wish I could give to my own fur baby if I had one. (Know I recognize that love looks different for different critters - for some it may mean keeping a respectful distance!)

My schedule is pretty flexible so I can take time to walk dogs during the day. I’m most available during the weekend and after 5 pm for over night boarding, but can potentially accommodate other schedules. I have no pets, so my home is perfect for less friendly pets. Crates will need to provided if they are needed for your pet, but I’m willing to keep up with their routine.

About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. I have my own pup of seven years and we absolutely love welcoming friends into our home. We live on a .4 acre lot in central Christiansburg and I have an incredibly flexible schedule so we're up for anything! Let me put your mind at ease as being away from your beloved pets is hard enough. I'll send multiple updates throughout the day and lots of pictures. Happy to care for any and all animals. I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors. I have a large field directly behind my home and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is for pets to maintain their routines and feel comfortable while their owners are away, and I make it a priority to provide that level of care and attention. I tailor my care to each pet's individual needs and follow the owner's instructions closely to keep their routine as consistent as possible. In my client's home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive plenty of exercise and attention, and get any necessary potty breaks. I also provide playtime, companionship, and regular updates so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, stress-free experience where pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.

About: From playful puppies to wise old souls, I’ve cared for dogs my whole life. Every tail wag gets the love and attention it deserves love. I’m currently only working part-time, but when i get home I have plenty of time with my pets. My husband also works from home, so we would be a team on Rover! I live on a secluded 65 acre farm, we also can provide fencing if needed. We also can crate your baby if needed, but our pets roam inside and outside since this land is isolated from the road.

About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs with different needs. I’ve always enjoyed working, caring, and playing with dogs of all sizes. I love to make sure they have a great time with me! I have a lab mix who loves making friends. Fur baby’s will get lots of love from me and my pup. Anything from cuddles to running around outside. I am currently only doing walks and drop in visits, house sitting/pet sitting may be discussed with longer term clients. I have very open time ranges and day availability. I have years of experience with various breeds and demeanors. I love spending time with animals and providing them with a fun time. My dog also love making new friends!
