I absolutely love cats and find them adorable, but I have a strong allergic sensitivity to cat dander that causes me to get itchy and break out in a rash if I am around them for too long. Because of this, I specialize strictly in quick, highly efficient 30-minute drop-in visits. I am happy to pop in to clean the litter box, put out fresh food and water, administer any quick treats, and give them some pets before washing my hands thoroughly and heading out. About: I have had pets all my life. Right now I have a rescue dog from China and another dog I just adopted from the culpeper shelter! I have 2 cats as well. One of my cats is a tripod therefore needs extra attention. The other cat is an orange boy so you know he’s a handful. I am in between jobs so I have plenty of time watch your pup! My husband also works from home 2 days a week. NO CHILDREN in the home. I have a very large quiet yard to let your dog out to play (fenced in) . I have room to set up crates and food stations. Must be friendly towards other dogs and ok with being crated during bedtime.

About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. If you think your dog is aggressive, I can and will evaluate them so that if possible, we will get them socializing with their own kind and having a great time. Thanks, have a good day! I train dogs for a living so I stay at my house 7 days a week besides when I work with clients and those lessons tend to run about an hour but no more than 2 hours! I have 9 years experience running my own kennel and have two dogs with a large fence so there will be no boredom here! About: I have several years of animal care under my belt, to which I can provide references upon request. I have watched dogs ranging from 2 weeks to 15 years old, friendly to timid, and big to small, so I have a variety of experience and understanding of the needs of each pup. I currently babysit during the day a couple days a week which varies. This commitment is only part of my day, which allows for plenty of time to drop by to walk/feed where might be needed. I am comfortable with any requests from clients in regards to how they wish for me to care for their animals whether it be crating, keeping on a closer leash, etc.

About: I was raised with dogs (shelties, primarily) and now have a hobby farm with goats, dogs (german shepherds, a lab and a sheltie), ducks and a cat. I'm reliable and friendly and happy to follow whatever instruction and routine you need. Your pets will be well cared for and you'll receive plenty of photo updates while you're gone! I have a very flexible schedule, so I am able to accommodate nearly any routine your pet is used to, including frequent walks and potty breaks. I will work with you to keep your pet's schedule as close to what they are used to as possible. If boarding in my home, we have a fenced yard, plenty of area to go on leashed walks, and they will get plenty of one on one attention and care. I'm happy to do transport or add in a bath during your pet's stay so your life can be as simple as possible while you're trying to get out the door for your trip. “Since our first use of Rover, this has been the best visit/offering of service thus far! Sonja &Phil maintained communication and provided photos throughout her entire stay, provided proper feeding (I always give a little extra and sitters would never have any to return), and she came back well and in good health (not the case on 2 occasions with another sitter). I appreciated that Roxy was still able to get outdoors in a enclosed area and I'm sure she did as well because she loves being outdoors. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be looking to use their services again!”
