About: I have walked and dog-sat for 7 years now with great reviews. Taken care of small 15 pound dogs to 80 pound dogs. Able to care with full attention and provide the best support. Flexible schedule, with willingness to negotiate certain times. Own 1 dog of my own, and have always had a dog in the house. I do not have any prejudice against specific dog breeds. Friendly personality, easy-going, and willing to match any dogs energy levels. Any restrictions, such as food or physical, are able to be accommodated and discussed. Possibility of last-minute scheduling, but be mindful of possible conflicts. I would need to know if the dog has any history of violence or biting, as that is a key factor for me to plan. I am a freelancer and have no major commitments that require my attention so I am able to fit pet sitting into my schedule very easily. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: I got my first dog at the age of 10 and trained him myself, aswell as other family dogs we grew to love over the years. Now 30, I have 2 pups of my own that I’ve given my whole world to. I love my animals as if they are family and yours would be no different. I believe animals bring out the best in us & I try to bring the out the best in them when I can instill any behavioral help! I’m currently working part-time and spend the rest of my day as a homemaker while my son is in preschool so I would have plenty of time to handle your pups after I drop my son off in the morning. I can provide walks, medications, feedings and free play in our half-acre fenced in back yard. I follow your guide lines with meal times and breaks. What’s important to you is what I aim to achieve in my visits wether that be play time, picture updates or cuddling on the couch making sure they feel comfortable when they stay for a visit or I come into their space. If your pup is one that can be ornery and needs more supervision rest assured I’m always home and do not leave them unsupervised unless we have arranged for them to have a crate if I need to run out. My friends, family, and neighbors always knew they had a reliable pet sitter as long as I was around. As an added bonus, I have summers and lots school holidays off! Our day starts very early with us hitting the pavement with other a run or walk. Around 5:30am, Lou is fed and I’m out the door for work (during the school year). Our daily activities are dependent on heat and water access; we enjoy the outdoors and everything it has to offer. As a passionate and experienced dog sitter, I understand the immense trust you place in someone to care for your beloved pets. My love for animals, especially dogs, is a cornerstone of my life, enriched by the companionship of my own two wonderful dogs. “What can I say? Sarah was fantastic! The whole experience was so easy and wonderful for our dog. Sarah was flexible and very responsive. Super accommodating. She kept us supplied with lots of updates and photos during the whole visit. Our hound sometimes has anxiety during new experiences but she was so well cared for that she felt immediately at ease when we arrived and through the whole visit. Sarah and her wonderful family took such good care of her that I would absolutely want my dog to stay with her again. Highly recommend!”
