I have had many issues with past sitters being dishonest and not following my guidance but I HIGHLY recommend Tanine!!! I have two very high energy pups (golden doodle and lab). She kept me updated, good and bad, and made sure to give my pup his meds with enough time for them to be effective prior to crating. She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care. I specifically chose her due to the training background and I am so glad I followed through though there were not many reviews. I did not have to ask for pictures or updates throughout. She has small children that seem to love dogs so I know my pups received comfort as they love children. She is a gem! Bruno has a daily skin care routine and requires medications, and Richard handled everything perfectly. By the time we picked Bruno up, his skin honestly looked better than when we dropped him off. Richard is clearly experienced and confident administering all types of medications, including injections, which gave me a huge sense of relief and comfort. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with a dog that has medical needs, but I felt completely comfortable leaving Bruno in his care. Bruno got constant attention, enjoyed his backyard, and clearly loved spending time with Richard and his family. About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

We met with her prior to our trip so Twinkle would be comfortable with her and her family as well as the house. When we dropped her she felt right at home. Jessie sent us updates and many pictures of Twinkle during her stay and we knew she was getting all the love and care she needed. Twinkle had a tumor removed a couple weeks before our trip and Jessie even did us the favor of talking her to the vet to get her bandage changed and took good care of her foot. She also only takes a max of 2 dogs so your dog will be getting all the needed attention. We will definitely have Jessie watch Twinkle on our next trip or when we leave for a long day! About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

I have had many issues with past sitters being dishonest and not following my guidance but I HIGHLY recommend Tanine!!! I have two very high energy pups (golden doodle and lab). She kept me updated, good and bad, and made sure to give my pup his meds with enough time for them to be effective prior to crating. She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care. I specifically chose her due to the training background and I am so glad I followed through though there were not many reviews. I did not have to ask for pictures or updates throughout. She has small children that seem to love dogs so I know my pups received comfort as they love children. She is a gem! To have the patience and be willing to work with us through his anxiety is not something you find in all Rover sitters. Glad to have finally found a permanent option!”

“Jamie, Mike and the whole family were amazing. It was very easy to book with Jamie and Mike. They were very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and answer any questions I had. They also asked questions and provided details about siting with them, that helped put my mind at ease, since I always worry about being separated from my pup. They were also very good communicating. Making sure we found a drop off and pick up time that works for us both, to sending multiple updates and photos on how my pup was doing while there. I am so grateful they opened their beautiful home, and shared their lovely family with Benjie. If available in the future, I would certainly use them to sit again, and would highly recommend them.”

She and her family cared for my dog with so much love, as if Peanut were her own. Her kids were also so sweet and played so nicely with Peanut — it really made her stay extra special.
