“Richard took phenomenal care of my dog, Bruno, and I could not recommend him more highly. He truly went above and beyond during Bruno’s stay. Bruno has a daily skin care routine and requires medications, and Richard handled everything perfectly. By the time we picked Bruno up, his skin honestly looked better than when we dropped him off. Richard is clearly experienced and confident administering all types of medications, including injections, which gave me a huge sense of relief and comfort. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with a dog that has medical needs, but I felt completely comfortable leaving Bruno in his care. We had daily updates which put our minds at ease You can tell Richard genuinely loves dogs. Bruno got constant attention, enjoyed his backyard, and clearly loved spending time with Richard and his family. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Bruno was being cared for like part of the family. We will absolutely book with Richard again. Richard is officially our new Rover when we go on vacation.”

“They had everything needed to care for our dogs. We only needed to bring food, they had plenty of beds and toys for them. There was tons of space for them to rub around, inside and out. Once we dropped them off, we felt comfortable that our dogs would be well taken care of. You could tell that they knew what they’re doing. When we went to pick them up, one was laying down outside and there was a bowl of ice water right next to him since it was warm out. Small things like that show they care and know how to take care of dogs. We’ll be using them in the future.”

About: I have two dog of my own, a cat and any farm animals. I’ve handle animals age ranging from 15+ to freshly born. I’ve also taken care of canines with different medical conditions (cancer, diabetes, etc). My eldest pup currently has stage 2 kidney diseases I’m a stay at home mom. We met with her prior to our trip so Twinkle would be comfortable with her and her family as well as the house. When we dropped her she felt right at home. Jessie sent us updates and many pictures of Twinkle during her stay and we knew she was getting all the love and care she needed. Twinkle had a tumor removed a couple weeks before our trip and Jessie even did us the favor of talking her to the vet to get her bandage changed and took good care of her foot. Twinkle was so happy there that when I went to pick her up she was in no hurry to go home and went back to her bed! Your dog will be very happy in Jessie’s care. She also only takes a max of 2 dogs so your dog will be getting all the needed attention. We will definitely have Jessie watch Twinkle on our next trip or when we leave for a long day! About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. About: I've been taking care of dogs of all sizes for the past several years for family, friends and other neighbors. I have the most experience with small/medium dogs but have occasional experience with larger dogs. I'm currently a full time teacher so I would be available after school August-May and any time through June to the beginning of August. When we went to pick them up, one was laying down outside and there was a bowl of ice water right next to him since it was warm out. Small things like that show they care and know how to take care of dogs. We’ll be using them in the future.”
