“Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: My dog Freckles and I would love to welcome other pups in our home, which features an open basement for dog play, a gated garage for outdoor lounging (see photos), and a small nearby park for dog walks. I work remotely from home during the week with a flexible schedule for taking the pups outside as needed. Morning and evening walks with occasional trips to the dog park. About: Over the years I have worked with many different kinds of animals from house pets to farm animals to exotics. I have always had a passion for animals and grew up taking care of them. I have been working in the animal field since age 16 and currently work as an ER exotic veterinary technician student. I am employed full time, however my job allows me to bring pets into work with me should they need monitoring, time sensitive medications, etc. I am trained to handle both fearful and friendly pets as well as administering medications and monitoring overall health and behavior. If there are any special requirements or requests please let me know in advance so I can provide the best possible care for your pet.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. There isn't a time I can remember not having dogs around my entire childhood. So, I went into a dog-centered field. I am certified as dog obedience trainer, and have worked with my parents senior Westie. I am currently staying at home, so I have a lot of time. My husband works five days a week, and I would love to have a job. Usually Monday through Thursday are good, nine to three. I am hoping to eventually be able to board dogs overnight. I love dogs. They are usually all so friendly once they know you, and I enjoy loving on them. You can rest assured I will do everything, within reason, that I can do to keep a dog safe and healthy.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. “Carrie was a life saver. Our original sitter cancelled on us at the last minute and Carrie took Ranger with no problem. He had the BEST time playing with all the other dogs and I know he was loved on. Ranger became ill while in her care (NO fault of anything at her house—just a fluke) and Carrie communicated with us and took great care of Ranger, maybe even spoiled him ;-). We would send Ranger to her again in a heartbeat. Very much recommend!!”

She asked us what we needed her to do with him in terms of feeding, sleeping, and potty breaks and then went above and beyond that by making sure he had more than enough outside time, playing with other dogs, and working on training him to sit, stay, lay etc. She also kept us very updated on how our puppy was doing.
