“Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”
About: I've had a 91 lb labradoodle from puppy to now for about 4 years. I've also been told that my cat adopted me about 1.5 years ago. My dog is a happy go lucky guy who's never met a person or animal he didn't like. My cat is about 15 years old and requires injectable medication twice a day, so nothing scares me when it comes to medication. I've taken care of the odd African Grey Parrot from time to time as well. I take my dog out every morning, lunch time and several times in the evening for walks and play. Our cat needs medicine twice a day that requires an injection so I'm well versed in providing medication and taking care of animals with special needs. About: I began volunteering at my local animal shelter at the age of 9 and have been caring for animals ever since. I have 20 years experience pet sitting for neighbors and I have my own 6 year old pitbull, Cleo, so I’m no stranger to energetic dogs. I’m a teacher, so my summers give me full flexibility to care for your animals! I love to walk dogs on local greenways and trails. SCHOOL YEAR UPDATE: I’m still happy to provide boarding, walking, and drop in visits outside of school hours. I am unable to be home or care for pets from 7am-3pm each day. If your dog can be left for 8 hours, boarding continues to be available during the school year. I have a fenced in backyard where your dog can play. If they like to play with a buddy, my dog will be their best friend!
