“Heather did a wonderful job sitting for my dogs!! I’ve never boarded my 3 1/2 year old standard poodle (Charlie) and I was having severe separation anxiety. Heather sent multiple photos every day and commented on how they were doing and how much they ate at breakfast and dinner. My dogs looked like they were on vacation and I swear, in one of the photos it looks like Charlie is smiling as he’s leaping through the air! They slept like babies once we got home. I currently have a 2 year old high energy husky who loves to keep us on a schedule for his park visits and walks. I love all animals- all shapes and sizes- and would love to help you get your pup out for exercise and potty breaks or even visits in the home if you have a cat or caged animal that needs tending to while you work or travel! I work 12 hour shifts Saturday Sunday and Mondays so I am not available on those days. I am available anytime Tuesdays through Friday however. I have a 2 year old husky who keeps us on a very regimented routine. Once we have taken our kids to school he is ready for his daily trip to the local dog park in hopes we catch his doggy friends, where we spend at minimum an hour and by 3pm he is ready for his evening walk to burn up some of his energy!

About: Animals definitely perceive my positive attitude, and people do too. I genuinely love making cats and dogs happy. I often talk to any animal quite a bit because I believe a calm tone of voice is good for them psychologically. Additionally, I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats throughout the years, working in kennel facilities and through ownership, and I understand what is required to keep them happy and healthy. I have a flexible schedule, with much time to ensure your pets get the exercise he or she needs, and the attention they deserve. They won't be lonely while you're away! Additionally, I can administer any medications necessary and follow any special dietary restrictions. Your cats and dogs are in good hands with me! I center taking care of my own animals around my daily schedule. I do my best to keep their regular feeding times ,and for my dogs walking times at expected hours. It can be difficult, but it wouldn't be fair for them to not know what to expect. So ultimately, I adjust my required needs around their schedule in terms of errands, and etcetera. I care for pets in a way they are accustomed to; meaning regular schedules for feeding, walks and/or medication. If they are staying in my home, I would try to provide the most comfortable accommodations as possible while awaiting their people. But in a client's home, I would just coddle the pet, give them comfort, and again - keep them on the schedule they are accustomed to.

About: Just the 2 of us. Our sweet boy crossed over the rainbow bridge, and while we’re not quite ready to get another dog, we love making new paw friends! We both work from home, and have opposite schedules when leaving the house, so one of us is normally home! It’s a perfect set up for your pups ‘home away from home.’ We take at least 2 walks a day, plus dog parks and car rides! Dogs are free to roam around the house and fenced in yard.

I live in an apartment and I'm currently only available to do boarding with one dogs but will consider two if they are bonded pair. before any boarding or housesitting services confirmed, I require we meet in person to ensure all the details are understood and that your dogs are OK with my dog. I have a 30 pound beagle mix named Daisy who is three years old and she will be with me at all times. I am always available for drop in visits and dog walking. prices fluctuate due to various factors but the main ones these days are gas prices and distance of travel. I.e The farther away you are the more likely there is that a added fee will occur before confirmation of service. I provide pet care in services full-time as of November 2021. I have volunteered in many animal shelters through out my childhood and young adulthood, I walk dogs, dog sit, love giving baths and make sure they are fed and stay on their regular schedule. I grew up in a household full of dogs (mainly black labs) and a few cats and have been around them my whole life. I am also a former SPCA volunteer of 2 years. Can’t wait to meet you and your pets! “I used Charissa and Alex for over a year on a monthly basis (6 days every month) and then tried to find a boarding facility closer to where I live to reduce my driving time to Ohio. That was a mistake! The care and attention Charissa and Alex provide my dog Buster is perfect and an equivalent amount was definitely not provided at the alternative facility. I now gladly tolerate the additional 30 minutes added to my 7 hr drive because I know Buster will be happy and healthy when I pick him up. They provide 5-⭐ care every month!!”

My dogs looked like they were on vacation and I swear, in one of the photos it looks like Charlie is smiling as he’s leaping through the air! They slept like babies once we got home.
