About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. About: What most sets us apart is the level of care we give and how flexible our schedules are. Your dog will likely never be alone. They will also receive organic free range egg and meat snacks as a topper for their kibble, and if they are not at risk for eating chickens, they will have a large 2 acre fenced area to explore and run. If they do want to eat chickens, they will still receive two daily forest walk or runs and be free in the smaller pen or on a line. DIVERSE EXPERIENCE We have experience with all kinds of dogs, all ages and temperaments. We will ensure the puppies get proper potty training and are on a proper schedule (can be exactly as you specify). We can also help your dog to not jump up, not pull on the leash, and he'll with basic training like recall, sit, stay. We have cared for many an elderly dog helping them be as comfortable as possible. I was able to help a grieving dog, who did not want to do much of anything, to enjoy running through the woods and playing again. We also have safely had a blind dog in our care as well. I have been around dogs all my life, and I know how to help timid dogs relax, when to give them space and when they need me to simply love on them. For example, we had one dog who would run away from you, but when we finally set him on the couch and pet him he just about melted into a snuggly ball! TRAINING & PHILOSOPHIES I am often learning more about dog psychology and training methods. I only support dominance hierarchies to the extent that it helps the dog. If a dog believes they must be in control because they don’t have a good leader, they will be more stressed out. This is unfair to the dog. I will never be unnecessarily rough with your pet though and I use positive reinforcement first. I have used this experience with success on friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs, as well as my own. My dog sits for over a minute until I tell him to Come. I see each animal as a unique soul who is here to experience and learn. I will be patient with your pet, kind but firm, and we will have loads of fun! FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES I can accommodate many schedules, including crate training. I can bring the crate along if we will be gone longer than a half hour visiting the neighboring farm. I can ensure your pet is kept to whatever feeding and potty schedules they are comfortable with, especially with potty training puppies. I have one dog: a whippet mix. I let him in and out as he chooses, and have a couple acres for him to run and play on. I am currently working on the perimeter fence also. Scoop and I often play fetch. I love going for runs and walks and would happily bring your pup along, depending on his or her energy level. I have a healthy understanding of how to keep a healthy leash contact with the dog, and if need be, I am quite strong if I need to keep the dog from running. I like to use incredibly long leashes if the dog is a flight risk but doesn't pull too hard so they have room to explore.

I will not take an unaltered dog outside of his or her home, this is for the safety and wellbeing of your dog. If your dog struggles with behavioral issues and has a history of aggression, please include this in your message so I can help you decide the best options for your pet when it comes to meeting a new pet sitter. If your dog struggles with severe anxiety (this is very common!) please include some of the best anxiety-reducing practices for your dog (ex. favorite blanket, hiding spots, calming treats / jackets) in their care instructions so that they can have the best time possible without their favorite human.

About: Hi! I currently have a boxer/shiba Inu and a rescue puppy. My boxer/shiba went through an intensive training program where I was taught how to train a dog as well so I’m great with dogs. I love dogs (maybe more than people lol) and whenever there’s a dog around me my heart melts and I just want to play with them and take care of all the pups!! I am currently a teacher and work Monday-Friday. I walk and/ or feed the pets I’m worked with before work and then again after work as well as play time. In the weekends I’m home all day long as well as in the summer months. I care for all animals as if they were my own. All animal get attention, scheduled meals, and exercise. I also have gates to separate animals if necessary.
About: I have experience with all animal types including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, birds, pocket pets and some reptiles. I am a licensed vet tech so I am also comfortable medicating animals that need it. I have 7 dogs and 3 cats, all of which are friendly with other animals. I will treat your pets as if they are my own no matter if they are being boarded or just going for a walk. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your pets and their needs while you are working, vacationing, etc. I can care for pets early before work, mid-day and late after work. On weekends my schedule can be more flexible depending on what activities I have going on. Any dogs that come into my home will be treated as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to play in. Boarding dogs will have their own room to hang out in.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.

So go and enjoy yourself, I have everything under control 😉 While I do have to show up to my day job in order to maintain my cats life of luxury(and believe me he is demanding), I am an early bird so I can stop by first thing in the morning. I will head right over after work and again before bed. Unless you’d like me to have a sleep over with your pet so that they won’t feel lonely. I’m going to love your pet as if they were my own. About: I’ve always loved animals, I have a 4 year old Australian Shepherd and he is my whole world. I will treat your fur baby with the love, care, and attention that I show my own fur baby. When I’m watching your pet, they will be safe, happy, and have the best time! I currently work full time, but I am available late evenings on week days and all day on most weekends. I am always happy to be flexible with my schedule. I live in an apartment so my dog gets plenty of walks, outdoor time, mental, and physical stimulation throughout the day. “Mary was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Yesterday she took care of our dogs all day during our wedding. She checked in on them three times and even delivered our dogs to our wedding venue so our brother could walk our dogs down the aisle during the ceremony. She hung out for the wedding, and then delivered them back to our hotel. She was so pleasant, followed every recommendation and request we made, and our dogs were so well cared for! She even went above and beyond walking the dogs for a long time before and after the wedding! If we lived locally in Newport News we would DEFINITELY us her again. About: I have grown up with animals. Dogs and cats are at the top of the list. I've been around domesticated animals all of my life. My first kittens at my young age was two siames kittens Who had 2 litters of kittens as well as having to toy poodle dogs, that had two litters of puppies twice. I must have been about 10 so it was from then that I have been loving & caring for fur babies.. Though I do not Own a dog or a cat right now, but look forward to owning some in my future.. I currently own a guinea pig. I just recently experienced the end of a pug/fur baby end of life. I took care of the pug for his last six months of life.
