We've only had Zuzu (rescued) for a few weeks; he has some "quirks", had no idea how he'd do, but Joey put us at ease during the meet & greet - he has a wonderful demeanor, his philosophy on having/treating/educating dogs is the same as ours, his place is great (lots of space, personal attention, socialization, etc etc). Communication was great, we were accommodated when drop-off time changed last minute, received pics/videos during Zuzu's stay, and received very helpful feedback on Zuzu when we picked him up. About: I’ve had many animals since I was a kid. Dogs, cats, small animals, farm animals you name it. Which makes me very experienced in all types of care, dogs especially. I’ve handled dogs of all kinds; senior, puppies, timid, energetic etc. I work a part time job right in the town of orange and I am not scheduled any longer than six hours at a time. Although my work schedule is indefinite meaning I don’t work the same days or hours every week. To find out my availability simply message me and i’ll be more than happy to get back to you! We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. If you think your dog is aggressive, I can and will evaluate them so that if possible, we will get them socializing with their own kind and having a great time. Thanks, have a good day! I train dogs for a living so I stay at my house 7 days a week besides when I work with clients and those lessons tend to run about an hour but no more than 2 hours! I have 9 years experience running my own kennel and have two dogs with a large fence so there will be no boredom here! I do prefer to kennel dogs for the night but as we get comfortable with each other they will start to earn more freedom! About: Animals definitely perceive my positive attitude, and people do too. I genuinely love making cats and dogs happy. I often talk to any animal quite a bit because I believe a calm tone of voice is good for them psychologically. Additionally, I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats throughout the years, working in kennel facilities and through ownership, and I understand what is required to keep them happy and healthy. I have a flexible schedule, with much time to ensure your pets get the exercise he or she needs, and the attention they deserve. They won't be lonely while you're away! Additionally, I can administer any medications necessary and follow any special dietary restrictions. Your cats and dogs are in good hands with me! I center taking care of my own animals around my daily schedule. I do my best to keep their regular feeding times ,and for my dogs walking times at expected hours. It can be difficult, but it wouldn't be fair for them to not know what to expect. So ultimately, I adjust my required needs around their schedule in terms of errands, and etcetera. I care for pets in a way they are accustomed to; meaning regular schedules for feeding, walks and/or medication. I previously worked at a boarding facility so I’m familiar with most breeds and have a rescue husky of my own! I currently work 8:30AM-5:30PM Monday-Friday. Durring summer breaks I went to horse camp where we learned how to safely handle, ride, and groom horses. I occasionally take care of my neighbors chickens when they go on vacation. About: I have my vet assistant licenses and I’ve been working with animal since 2020 I went to MTC in Harrisonburg Virginia for vet. I’m also close to finishing my grooming school. I’m currently working part time. I can do weekdays and weekends anytime works for me. I’ll just need at least a day in advance. If you need me last minute I might be able to work something out. I love playing with animals and loving on them. I always make sure they are taking out and walked until they are ready to go back in. I make sure ever pup I take care of is happy.
About: As the daughter of a pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve been caring for animals from an early age. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. Those experiences reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. I’m also available for last-minute needs and those holiday plans that sometimes run longer than expected. Above all, I take this work seriously and will care for your pet with the same love I give my own. 🐾🖤 Working mainly from home allows me the flexibility to plan my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. In my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, while giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them comfortable. We can work on learning new tricks and reinforcing obedience training.

About: when you choose me as your pet sitter, you have nothing to worry about. I care for all pets as if they're my own. I live in an apartment and I'm currently only available to do boarding with one dogs but will consider two if they are bonded pair. before any boarding or housesitting services confirmed, I require we meet in person to ensure all the details are understood and that your dogs are OK with my dog. I have a 30 pound beagle mix named Daisy who is three years old and she will be with me at all times. I am always available for drop in visits and dog walking. prices fluctuate due to various factors but the main ones these days are gas prices and distance of travel. I.e The farther away you are the more likely there is that a added fee will occur before confirmation of service. I provide pet care in services full-time as of November 2021. I am available at any time if you need me. i'm currently available for the following services: housesitting, pet boarding, drop in visit, dog walking for 30 minutes or 60 minutes, and one on one dog training. if your dog is with me, I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly. We have two dog parks and I am often at these dog parks at least once a day. However if you have a dog that is not comfortable with that I would not take them there. I would focus on other activities that are more suited to your pet. I also take a lot of pictures and I am constantly in contact with you so you don't have to worry where or what we're doing. I currently work as a therapist with an office in the Madison area, right next to the plow and hearth. My schedule is pretty flexible and it changes weekly as my client needs change. I am almost always around, that makes me a great person for any last minute bookings needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of affection, daily walks, and playtime tailored to your pet’s needs. I keep the space clean, secure, and low-stress, with my own well-behaved dog Daisy as a companion if your pet is comfortable. When staying in your home, I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow all instructions closely, maintain regular updates, and work to ensure your pet feels safe and cared for in their familiar environment. I aim to build trust with both pets and their people every step of the way.

We've only had Zuzu (rescued) for a few weeks; he has some "quirks", had no idea how he'd do, but Joey put us at ease during the meet & greet - he has a wonderful demeanor, his philosophy on having/treating/educating dogs is the same as ours, his place is great (lots of space, personal attention, socialization, etc etc). Communication was great, we were accommodated when drop-off time changed last minute, received pics/videos during Zuzu's stay, and received very helpful feedback on Zuzu when we picked him up.
