You can enjoy worry-free care knowing your furry friend is in caring and attentive hands. I’ve owned pets my whole life and I’ve fostered dogs for the past 3 years. I work but I get up early enough to have ample time for morning routine of potty, feeding and playtime or walk. After work, it’s potty, feeding and playtime again with a walk. Your pet will have the freedom of the main floor until they have settled in. I have gates, play fences and crates if they are needed. Once comfortable, they are allowed upstairs (I had a few fosters that loved to hang out on my bed). I have a fenced yard for play and bathroom. I have multiple dog beds and lots of toys. I have my own small dog, who has never met a dog he didn’t like, and three cats.

About: I absolutely adore animals. I have four children who are also huge animal lovers so if you board with us in home your pet will be absolutely doted on. Pet parents will be hard pressed to find a family that will take better care of your pet or give them as much love and attention. I love being outside and going on long walks and would love to accompany your dog on their daily walk. We have a tremendous amount of time to play with your pet, take them on walks, and give them the attention they not only require but also deserve. We have a decent sized fenced in yard which is perfect for lots of play time! We are very attentive to animals and have experience giving medication including shots.

About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.
About: Been taking care of pets since I was in Highschool. It was always a fun way to get my pet fix since we didn’t have any growing up! Stay at home mom of 3 young boys so I’m always home. This will give us a new purpose during the day which is much needed. “We were near Fredricksburg for the the weekend and we wanted to go eat at the restaurant so we found Kindall; luckily she was only 4 minutes away from where we wanted to dine. We were able to drop him off , Kindall greeted us outside and Spider felt comfortable right away with her. We felt at eat ease leaving him for about 2 hours. We were able to enjoy our meal without having to rush and even went shopping after. Kindall kept us updated by sending us photos and communicating. We did not have to give her anything as she said she would give him her own treats. We will highly recommend and use Kindall in the future again, she was very sweet and patient with spider.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. I work full time at a grooming salon as a pet bather. And I have experience working at an animal hospital and a pet sitting company. I’m able to watch any sized dog and any age from puppies to seniors. I also offer simple grooming services! I regularly take multiple dogs on hikes for at least 1 hour and am used to watching large groups of dogs at a time I’m currently working full time, 5 days a week. I am free all day Tuesday, and Sunday. But I’m also free after 4pm any other day . I can pet sit overnight any day and do drop in visits in the morning, evening, and at night. I am unable to board dogs at my own home but at a clients home I can take your dogs for both short and long walks. I can even take them to a park for a nature hike. I will feed them at their scheduled times and if wanted by owners I can crate them. If medication is needed I am comfortable with giving it to them. I will give them plenty of love and lots of playtime. If wanted I can also give nail trims, brushing, ear cleaning and baths as I work full time as a pet bather.

I just finished school and I believe this would be a great opportunity for me to having a better understanding animals better for becoming a vet. This was our first time leaving our two Shih Tzus overnight and we received regular text messages with pictures and updates, always very personable. “We are so happy we found Laurie to take care of our 12 year old Aussie. After the initial meet and greet she was able to take him in for a few nights while we were on travel at the last minute. Laurie is super friendly and you can tell she really cares for the pets she’s watching. All of the other dogs that she watches were all really friendly as well and we are really grateful that’s he got a lot of playtime in her fenced in back yard. Laurie was also super communicative and sent multiple updates and pictures everyday which we really appreciated. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”
