Over the years, family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they’re away. About: I have house/dog sat for 7+ years now around my old neighborhood. I have cared for pets (cats and dogs) of many ages and breeds. I am experienced with giving your fur babies the medications that they may need and the amount of exercise they require. I am experienced with caring for young and old dogs and will personalize care however you prefer. My pup requires a long walk every day so I am used to walking long distances if needed; it is completely up to you to decide! I have a SUPER friendly boxer. He plays very well with other dogs, big and small. He loves all dogs, humans, cats, you name it. I also currently foster for a Belgian Malinois rescue and have a ~2yo mal foster. She is also friendly and does well with dogs but prefers neutrality. If your dog isn’t friendly or prefers alone time, that is also fine! I am easily able to separate dogs so that they can have a neutral environment. I work from home currently, so I am available to take the pups out whenever they need. My dogs usually get a long walk (1-4 miles) and any dogs I watch are welcome to join! If they cannot handle a longer walk they can get a shorter walk before or after my dog’s walk. I leave for about an hour a day to work out or run errands. At most I’m gone 2 hours from my house. I live in a neighborhood and have a semi large yard. My yard is not fenced but I have long lines (leashes) that I will take your dog out on to run and get exercise if they do not prefer walks. They will always be supervised and on-leash outside to prevent any accidents!

Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.
