About: As a first responder, I’m very comfortable around K9s and understand the importance of patience, consistency, awareness, and responsible handling around animals. I also have two dogs of my own, Millie, a Vizsla, and Aksel, a German Shepherd. I’ve had Millie her entire life, and Aksel came to us as a rescue about a year ago. When we first brought Aksel home, he needed extra patience, structure, and training, and we’ve worked with him consistently to help him become the happy, well-tempered dog he is today. I genuinely love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, working with them, and helping them learn. I work as a first responder, so my schedule is different from a traditional Monday–Friday schedule. I have set days off that allow me to offer pet care, and I primarily schedule boarding on my days off so I can give your pet plenty of attention and supervision. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits when my schedule allows. I keep my availability updated and am happy to communicate ahead of time to make sure your pet’s needs fit my schedule. I know that cats are each their own special being and sometimes their way of getting attention is to just hang out in the same room with you. I have been in school to train as a vet tech, due to finances I could not finish. However, I do know more about interacting with cats than the average person due to finances.

(We had met them the day prior to introduce our dog) Sadly the flight cancelled due to weather as we were dropping the dog off, but we used the opportunity to have breakfast and go to the grocery. About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.
