The second day had us wondering whether she would want to come home again. While my husband was picking Dolly up this morning my sister called to see whether she had come home and just then she came running through the door,❤️ please please put your mind at ease , there is a home away from home for your dog❤️”

About: I have worked in the pet care industry for 12 years as a groomer and pet care technician in a boarding and daycare facility. I grew up on a farm, taking care of all manner of animals, from bunnies to goats and horses. My family rescued and fostered dogs from the time I was a young girl and I have been petsitting since I was a teenager. I love using my pet care skills to help you and your pets feel more comfortable when you are away. I take your pets well being and safety as seriously as if they were my own. In my free time I enjoy teaching my Dachshund tricks, dance moves and dressing him in silly costumes for my Instagram account. “Jon and his family were very gracious hosts for our furry family member. He was very thorough in asking about our beagle’s needs and provided all necessities for a successful stay: crate, bed, fenced yard, and lots of play and spoiling! It was comforting knowing that it was more of a retreat for our dog than boarding, and Jon went above and beyond to make things easy and successful. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog in his hands and will be return customers! Thanks!”

“We definitely recommend Audrey!! We received lots of pictures and I know our boy was extra spoiled and loved in her care. She saved us in a last minute situation and we are so thankful for her flexibility!!”
About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.

“We truly appreciate Brandy! We booked very last minute with brandy. Being on vacation we brought our epileptic pup and he wasn’t coping well in a new place being alone. So we downloaded this app for the first time and booked with her while we went out. She responded when I checked on him, and sent me pictures of him while he was with her. We are even booked an extra day with her while we were here because he did so well in her care! Thank you Brandy !!”

“Brandy did a great job watching our dog Summer for the day! About: I kind of fell into the dog sitting fun. My mom used to “sit” with every kind of being from baby to dog before it became a popular hustle. Growing up I’ve always helped and learned from her how to care for other’s family members as one’s own. In my spare time, I love to hike and I walk everyday. I'd love to have your companion as a sidekick on these adventures. Or even just enjoy a leisurely walk. Coming into one’s home is an act of trust and a privilege. This is not lost on me. I have every intention of respecting the needs and privacy of my clients.
“Scott was fantastic for Cali. He provided her with all of her favorite things: fetch and water! They are located right at the base of old rag trail head and was perfect for my day hike up the mountain where dogs are not allowed! Would book with Scott again.”

About: Animals definitely perceive my positive attitude, and people do too. I genuinely love making cats and dogs happy. I often talk to any animal quite a bit because I believe a calm tone of voice is good for them psychologically. Additionally, I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats throughout the years, working in kennel facilities and through ownership, and I understand what is required to keep them happy and healthy. I have a flexible schedule, with much time to ensure your pets get the exercise he or she needs, and the attention they deserve. They won't be lonely while you're away! Additionally, I can administer any medications necessary and follow any special dietary restrictions. Your cats and dogs are in good hands with me! I center taking care of my own animals around my daily schedule. I do my best to keep their regular feeding times ,and for my dogs walking times at expected hours. It can be difficult, but it wouldn't be fair for them to not know what to expect. So ultimately, I adjust my required needs around their schedule in terms of errands, and etcetera. I care for pets in a way they are accustomed to; meaning regular schedules for feeding, walks and/or medication. If they are staying in my home, I would try to provide the most comfortable accommodations as possible while awaiting their people. But in a client's home, I would just coddle the pet, give them comfort, and again - keep them on the schedule they are accustomed to.

About: Its incredibly easy for me to pick up on a pet's personality. Whether they're out and about, or too lazy to go out, I champion myself for being able to understand a pet's emotions. About: Hi! My name is Annalise, and I have been pet sitting since high school, for about six years now. Ever since then, it feels like I’ve found my passion. I’m an international affairs major at JMU, and a proud cat mom (the tabby)! Adopting my baby boy Alex soon (the first dog), who I’m training from the ground up. He’s a nervous boy but worth it! I’m willing to put in the work, and I can’t think of a better reward than the love of an animal. If you give me the honor to look after your babies, I promise I’ll care for them fiercely. I do this because I love it, and it makes me happy; please reach out to me if you need a hand, I’d be more than happy to give it!! I have a part time job and am a full time student, but I am more than willing to work around your pets schedule. Your pet’s care is my priority, and I wouldn’t accept a job if I didn’t believe I could give them 110% of my attention and affection. I would take your pets on walks, cuddle them, and overall ensure they’re being cared for to the best of my ability. I would also get to know them well so I could easily assess if any behaviors are out of the ordinary.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs. I’m a dog owner myself and have experience raising and caring for puppies, including feeding, bathing, basic training, maintaining routines, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and comfortable following detailed instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate routines, and individual preferences. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or simply wants someone to cuddle with, I’m happy to adapt my care to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and extended care depending on your pet’s normal routine. I’m also happy to discuss specific scheduling needs and do my best to provide consistency so your pet can maintain the routine they’re accustomed to. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walking, medications, crate routines, household rules, and any special needs. I pay close attention to behavior and body language and take the time to help pets feel comfortable with me rather than forcing interaction. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of both their pet and their property and make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other safety measures are secure. I also believe communication is important, so I’m happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and receiving plenty of attention.
“Lauren was absolutely wonderful! She was punctual, very kind, and extremely attentive to all the specific instructions I gave her. My dog is usually very shy around strangers, but he loved her immediately and went on the walk with her without any hesitation. I couldn't be happier with her service, and I highly recommend her!.”

About: I have loved animals since I was young. I’ve been taking care of my 12 year old dog since he was a puppy and needed to be bottle-fed. He’s now a senior dog and I still take great care of him. I trained him to do tricks as a puppy and my family has heavily relied on me to solely take care of my dog, especially when they leave me to take care of our dog when they travel for vacations. I am also a pre-vet student at James Madison University, pursuing a career involving animal care! I am working part time and getting scheduled minimum hours right now. I’m going away to college soon but before then I’d have plenty of free time to come take care of your fur-babies! I don’t board dogs at my home but I show respect to every home I enter and treat the home the way I would treat my own.

About: I helped to train my dog and taught her lots of tricks, I also have a lot of experience taking dogs for walks, feeding them, bathing, and brushing their hair I’m currently working a summer internship with flexible hours, which allows me to adjust my schedule as needed. I have plenty of time to provide reliable pet care, including walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day. I have a partially fenced yard and one friendly dog who is well-socialized with other pets. I prioritize safety by closely supervising all interactions, following each pet’s routine, and ensuring they have a comfortable, clean, and secure environment. I will also provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
About: All my life I have cared for many different kinds of dogs. There was never a time when my family didn’t have atleast 3 dogs! I currently live on a farm with goats, bunnies, dogs and cats! I always make it a priority to walk my dogs as much as I can. I am very patient with my dogs and try my best to keep them trained while also having fun! Currently, my only commitments are within my graduate program, and I volunteer at a horse farm once a week. My weekends are completely free, as well as most of my mornings and early afternoons. All of my pets are so loved, and I will make sure your fur babies feel loved as well. I know how much a pet means to an owner, and I will make it my priority to give your pets the best care based on their needs and your wants!

“I had told Liliana that Dolly looks like a sad sac when we have left her. Well , the pictures we received the first day had her looking like the happiest dog in the world. The second day had us wondering whether she would want to come home again. While my husband was picking Dolly up this morning my sister called to see whether she had come home and just then she came running through the door,❤️ please please put your mind at ease , there is a home away from home for your dog❤️”

“Rosie always has fun at Kendyl’s house! Thanks again for your kind and gentle way with Rosie. It’s always a relief to know that Rosie is in good hands when we need a sitter!!”

“Jenesis was outstanding. We were in a panicked situation and she was very responsive to help. She was very kind and comforting to Chip during his stay and sent video and photos of him throughout his stay. She was wonderful about staying in touch with us anc keeping us updated on his walks and meals and how he was doing in general. I would recommend Jenesis to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets and we will use Jenesis again next time we are in town.”

“Kara and her family were amazing with my husky! They had him for 5 days while we were out of town and I have nothing but great things to say about them. My boy was well taken care of, he was happy and communication was consistent (something I highly appreciated) They took him on walks, played with him and gave him lots of love. We totally recommend her!”

“Danielle and her crew were great! She was very responsive to my messages and was able to watch my doggo on very short notice. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in her care. If you're ever in Harrisonburg, choose her!”

“Brandy always takes good care of our doggie and sends lots of pictures while we're away. He's always happy when we get to her house so she's doing something right! 😁 She is quick to respond to questions and very flexible with drop off and pick up. Great sitter!”

“Beth was amazing and the perfect choice for looking after my Reggie. She gave him top care, love, and attention. She was wonderful with him and provided lots of updates and photos. This was Reggie’s first stay with a sitter and I’m so glad it was with Beth! I highly recommend her!”

About: I have grown up with big dogs such as pit bulls and huskies and love them dearly I really love how playful and caring they are. I trained both my family pitties since they were puppies I’m currently only working 30hrs a week can board for you starting Sunday nights till early Wednesday morning have space for animals to play and run I live in a house on a 1 acre property no fences so as long as your dog is properly trained and no risk of them running away I don’t mind letting them roam free if not I can just walk them around on a leash. As for cats same difference I have a back patio to allow them to be in the sun and have fresh air and all the space they deserve
“Miss Valley had an amazing time with Diane and her family. She enjoyed nice walks with her kids and seemed as though she really enjoyed her time with Diane. Diane communicated daily on how she was doing and sent photos as well. I will definitely be rebooking with Diane again!”

“Our German Shepherd loved his stay. He was much more relaxed than in a kennnell with all the walks and one on one special treatment in a calm, quiet and spacious house with a fenced in back yard. I loved how caring they were and what terrific questions they asked ahead of time.”
“Amanda was great! She was communicative and sent us adorable photos of our boy throughout his stay. Our boy was treated like family and became best friends with her dog. I truly appreciate how much love he received while we were away!”

“Our dog connected with Heather immediately! It was clear from the photos and messages that our dog was enjoying her time with Heather and extremely comfortable in her home. Heather is personable and professional, and we would book her again to care for our dog.”

“Rebecca was the best! She was so flexible in meeting me to drop off/pick up my dog, and I could tell that my dog loved spending time with her. She was smiling and wagging her tail when I picked her up and I know she had the best time. She sent photos throughout her stay and kept me in the loop. If I ever need someone to watch Willow again I know who to contact. Thank you!”
