If your dog is coming over to my house they must be good with other animals. I have a male Belgian tervuren (fixed) who’s pretty shy at first, but warms up quickly and would love a play buddy! And then I have a male Dachshund (fixed) who sleeps all day. I do crate my dogs while I’m away, and they can be crated just to give your pet some space to decompress. About: I’ve had dogs since I was eight years old. Including puppies and rescuing senior dogs. Some of the senior dogs were at the end of their life so I understand the need for compassion and care. I currently have a two year old puppy which I have trained since she was five months old. So I am very versed in the need for daily exercise, consistent training, and daily enrichment. I’ve been dog sitting for at least ten years. Including extended stays at my residence. I’m currently a part time worker, looking for something to fill my extra time. So I have a very flexible schedule and I’m always ready for some extra dog time. My goal is to always put your pets need first. Including any care they need. Including cleaning up after them and any extra medications they may need. Also adding comfort and safety in stressful situations.
About: I have personally taken care of a beagle for 12 years and a small chihuahua-shih tzu for 10 years. We just welcomed a new chihuahua that is 2 years old to our family! I also watch my grandparents dog and give them a bath when needed for them. I am a 2021 college graduate and this care would be full time over this winter break for 2024 since I have some time off!
