About: I’ve grown up around multiple cats over the years that were mostly tabbies. Some were strictly indoor and some liked the best of both worlds. I started out taking care of my grandmother’s cats and then got my own when I was 11, taking care of them into their senior years. She had that cat lady instinct and taught me how to be patient and compassionate towards our feline friends. I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. About: My love of dogs started when I rescued my first dog. Since then, I have acquired a load of knowledge not only in how to care for them, but also how to train them. I can provide mental and physical stimulation for your furry friend and bring most of my own equipment - I can also use the tools your pet is most familiar with. I can assess your pet to determine what your pet may need for stimulation, make suggestions for daily care, and learn at least some of their body language. My dogs and I are always interacting whenever I'm home, but most of our intentional fun/training happens outdoors daily. This includes both training and walking. I also help some of my friends train their dogs whenever our schedules allow. I believe your dog should ALWAYS be in training and you can make almost any situation a training opportunity. Your pets can be treated as my own and/or according to your specific instructions. Do you have multiple dogs that need to be separated? No problem. Can your dogs be together but need to be supervised so tension doesn't continue to build? I got you covered there too! Does your dog pull too much on walks, need to learn how to act in-doors? I can work with your dog on those things as well in addition to other things!

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have had hands on experience with small, medium, and large dogs as well as puppies to seniors. I’ve been around dogs that are very calm and dogs that “don’t usually like people” and have been able to have them warm up to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering oral medication, and providing exercise and play. I’m available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends which allows me to be more flexible in caring for your pets and making sure they receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. When caring for pets I prioritize keeping their normal routines to reduce stress. I follow feeding schedules closely, provide walks and playtime based on their energy levels. I pay close attention to behaviors and behaviors changes and ensure doors, gates, and leases are secure for safety. I also can send photo updates to owners while they’re away.

About: I’ve lived in a few different houses in my life, all full of pets! Currently I have seven in my home and I apply constant care to 2 of them! I’ve trained all of my dogs over the years to do tricks, and have some fun techniques for it now! I’m always up for elderly animal care as well, as I have lived with and cared for a handful of elderly dogs and cats in my time! I think my nurturing and love for animals sets me apart as well as my experience with so many of these pets! I’m currently a student at Longwood university! I will have lots of time after classes or on days off for plenty of pet care! I can’t work Sunday’s as I have to care for my grandmother, but I get out of school most afternoons with plenty of extra time for pet care! I care very attentively for pets in my home and others’ homes! I love taking my dogs for a walk, we have a fenced in yard as well, but I’m fine just walking them if no fence is present! I try to keep them company and play with them as much as I’m allowed, and of course would work to make sure I don’t stray from their comfort zone as I know sometimes animals can be upset at certain triggers!

About: Hi! My husband and I own a farm in Amelia, VA with horses, sheep, chickens, and our cats and dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and am a complete animal lover. I work in the agriculture sector with a flexible schedule and my husband works from home full time. My schedule allows me to be home with your pets as often as they need. I have been house sitting for over 15 years and absolutely love being able to love other people’s pets like my own! My house also has a fenced in yard, and is great if your pets want to come stay with me as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, most exotic pets, horses, and any barnyard animal you could think of. We are also very experienced in senior care, and often foster for our local shelter so are used to a lot of different behaviors and dog personalities. I am available for pet sitting and farm sitting. I am looking forward to hearing from you! I have a flexible work schedule and my office is less than a mile from my home, so I can stop in often. My husband is also very experienced in animal care and works from home full time. Our dogs spend most of their day snoozing with my husband while he works. They go on 3-4 walks per day and have a fenced yard to run around. Guest dogs are treated like our own! Drop in clients can expect their dogs to be loved on and cared for as desired for 30-60 minutes per drop in.

About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. I am currently on veterans disability so I can focus my whole day to your furry friend. No worry about being stuck in all day. I have 5 acres of yard for them to play on. I have lots of space if needed, room for crates, room outside. Plenty of space so your furry friend won't feel trapped. My animals mind their own.

About: Whether your precious purse pooch needs a structured routine while you’re at work or you have to leave your gigantic baby home while going on vacation, I’ve got you covered! I have 10 years of experience taking care of my own pets (cats and dogs!) and friends and family have trusted me to feed, play, and meet their dogs needs while they’re away. I work part time and am saving up to go back to college in the Fall, so until then my availability is pretty open to help. Whether its early mornings, nights, or weekend stays, I am flexible when it comes to my schedule and value consistent communication when changes come up. I have reliable transportation and can accommodate last minute needs or plan for more structured, longer care. At the moment, I prefer to take care of pets in the comfort of their own home since I don't have a big enough space to invite your pets into. You know your pet best and sticking to what they're familiar with as far as feedings, exercise, and other care is what I will prioritize. My approach is calm, steady, and confident. About: I’ve taken care of various breeds of dogs for years, i’m also trained to administer medications if need be for your special needs pups. Don’t fret or worry about your pets while on vacation, i will update you with pictures and texts everyday. I myself am a dog mom to five fur kids and understand the want to make sure your pets are in great hands. I currently do dog sitting full time so I will have plenty of time to play, care for, and give potty breaks for your fur kids! I stay in touch with the owner of the pet to ensure safety and trust, I also prefer to have a description of daily care and needs so your pup can keep his/her routine while you are away.

About: I’ve been watching both cats and dogs for friends and neighbors for a few years now, and now that I have more flexibility in my schedule I would love to provide my services to others! About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. But,I will try to keep my Rover calendar up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! The plan is is turn this into a full-time gig so I will have probably more availability as time goes on towards the end of this year, but I’m hoping to find some regular clients that will book with me on a consistent basis! About: I love all animals! I believe animals can sense energy, and animals always respond well to my presence because I am patient. I grew up on a farm so horses, dogs, cats, birds. My pets live like kings 😂 I work remotely so my schedule is flexible. Over night stays are fine. I work remotely and have hot spot so my schedule is flexible. I am available 7AM-3PM (depending on area). Fridays/Saturdays available all day. I would prefer pet sitting at the pet’s home to ensure they feel comfortable, low stress. Evenings I can stay extended amounts of times as long as y’all don’t mind me working remotely on my hot spot at the home. Outside/feeding schedules will be no problem because my work is flexible.

I can be flexible to you and your pets needs! I have very friendly dogs to keep your pup company! If your dog isn’t much of a playful type - that’s okay too! My dogs do not harass and have great social manners. I have a crate I can offer at your request and I am very experienced with dog safety and K9 cpr. When going on walks I ALWAYS check the dogs collar and leash before leaving the house to be sure everything is appropriately secure. I always make sure I watch any dogs before I open doors to be sure no one runs out! My experience with K9 behavior allows me to catch a bad thing before it happens!

About: I know how to take care of animals with disabilities, my cat that I grew up with is blind and I took care of him until he passed away. I grew up around dogs and cats, my mom currently has two chihuahua mixes that I have taught some basic commands to. I also have a cat named Keke and she’s 3 years old. I can work around my schedule, I currently have a job working at cvs and am willing to move around my schedule to whatever fits best! About: Hi! I am ready to walk and spend the day with your pups or check in on your kitty’s! I have a 4 year old chocolate lab and 10 year old dachshund of my own! I have years of experiencing with animals. I am currently enrolled in vet tech school! I am available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. I am in the Brandermill area but willing to travel 30 minutes.
