“I did a lot of homework and reviewing of boarders for my 1.5-year-old, 70 lb. Aussie/golden before landing on Robin because of her amazing reviews and years of experience. We had just had a terrible board and train situation leaving him with some pressure sores and anxiety. I am so glad I chose Robin though. She allowed me to come out a month before booking to see her facilities, get to know me and my pup, and to explain how his days would be going. Ollie looked so incredibly comfortable around her then I started calling our vacation his summer camp. She sent pictures almost daily of Ollie running around and playing with other pups. He came back to me 5 lb. lighter than before because of it (he needed it!) and I can also tell that she kept up with his training that we have been working on which I greatly appreciated. He actually looked disappointed to go home! We will of course be back and will tell everyone we know who needs a boarder! Thank you, Robin!”

“I left my 11 year old dog Zee for 4 days and went out of town. I received updates and pictures 3-4 times a day. Zee did not eat much the first day from her bowl so was "hand fed" by Radka to ensure she ate some....OMG! We discussed by text and made a food substitution that worked out..Radka went out and purchased the food with her own funds! She took care of my Zee like she was hers...She walked her, played with her, indulged her, and spoiled her (to be honest)..I felt so happy and contented with the care that I never worried like usual. My family joked that Zee would not want to return home.. Radka's adorable kids even helped out with Zee. What more could I ask for?..this was THE BEST experience i ever had with doggie care in 10 years!! About: I've loved and taken care of dogs since I was a child. I offer lots of time with your dog, to ensure he doesn’t miss you too much while you are away. My neighbor had 10 dogs,and I ended up taking care of them daily, taking them for walks, playing with them, training them, and of course snuggling on the couch.I've had experience with small dogs such as Jack Russells to big dogs such as German Shepherds. Most dogs tend to love me, as I give into their puppy eye look when they want me to throw the ball one more time or get an extra treat. We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.

About: I have had dogs since childhood! “Puppy” love can change any attitude! A little TLC for your fur babies is what I can provide for you. I work remotely so pretty flexible on time. Feeding, walking, playing all in a days work. I find that a little animal break in my day make me more productive. Our 3 large dogs use doggy door but the little ones have to be let out. We walk our dogs every morning and throw balls ever afternoon.

We had just had a terrible board and train situation leaving him with some pressure sores and anxiety. I am so glad I chose Robin though. She allowed me to come out a month before booking to see her facilities, get to know me and my pup, and to explain how his days would be going. Ollie looked so incredibly comfortable around her then I started calling our vacation his summer camp. She sent pictures almost daily of Ollie running around and playing with other pups. He came back to me 5 lb. lighter than before because of it (he needed it!) and I can also tell that she kept up with his training that we have been working on which I greatly appreciated. “I left my 11 year old dog Zee for 4 days and went out of town. I received updates and pictures 3-4 times a day. Zee did not eat much the first day from her bowl so was "hand fed" by Radka to ensure she ate some....OMG! We discussed by text and made a food substitution that worked out..Radka went out and purchased the food with her own funds! She took care of my Zee like she was hers...She walked her, played with her, indulged her, and spoiled her (to be honest)..I felt so happy and contented with the care that I never worried like usual. My family joked that Zee would not want to return home.. Radka's adorable kids even helped out with Zee. What more could I ask for?..this was THE BEST experience i ever had with doggie care in 10 years!! Milo is an 8 month old puppy still learning house training and making amazing progress. I found him at a rescue in Philly when I was visiting March 2026- love at first site! He clicked so well with my German Shepherd mix Winter, that I rescued in June 2025. Prior to falling in love with these two rescues, I helped foster several dogs through a local rescue- while healing from the loss of my dog of 13 years, Bella.
