About: Hey y’all! I have taken care of pets, specifically dogs, for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Louisiana with 2 dachshunds in my family home. One of them had diabetes, so I am experienced with giving shots and oral medication. In addition to taking care of the weenie dogs, I had a pet hedgehog and chameleon in high school. I truly love animals of all kinds. I grew up walking and dog sitting for family friends and neighbors. In high school, I was an involved volunteer at my local humane society. When I was in college, I ended up rescuing a dog from that shelter. My parents took him in since I lived in a college dormitory. After I graduated college, I couldn’t wait to get my own dog! Here in Charlottesville, I have 1 dog now, Pretzel, who is a small lab mix. He is also a rescue, and is my world! I can’t wait to meet, walk, and watch your pets! I have a non-traditional work schedule that is unpredictable but also flexible. I go into work most week days, or sometimes work from home. My hours can vary, but I always make time to walk my dog Pretzel multiple times a day with trips to the dog park when I can. I am available on the weekends. In my home, Pretzel roams free. I do not kennel him, as he is potty trained. I want Pretzel to be able to roam around as he pleases. Pretzel sleeps with me every night.

My family has fostered more than 100 dogs ranging from newborn puppies to end of life care for senior dogs. About: I have had dogs for all of my life. I have grown to enjoy taking care of all kinds of dogs from small, medium, and big. I have experience with walking dogs, bathing dogs, and feeding dogs. I currently am not working any jobs at the moment but I am a college student. My hours are much more flexible than they were in high school. I have class on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I also have band practice every day from 6-7:30. My weekends are free unless I have a game on Saturday or if I plan to go home on a weekend. I currently have one dog living with me, and I always take her on walks whenever I get the chance. I typically take her on small trails in the neighborhood and she loves it! I also bathe and feed her most days. I currently am not working any jobs at the moment but I am a college student. My hours are much more flexible than they were in high school. We have a double harness leash for both of our dogs and we take them on daily walks. We do live in a townhome so we don’t have a fence but we do take them out and if you have a fence I will definitely be sure to give your furry friend the exercise they need!

I have had experience with multiple doctors in the preparation of animals before surgery that include: shaving the designated area of surgery, cleaning the surgical area, hooking vitals and oxygen tubes for the animal, carrying the animal to and from the surgical table to rehabilitation zones, etc. I also Interacted with the patients owner to receive information regarding their animal and was in charge of filling prescriptions and properly checking them out. I am currently working part time in the mornings so I have all day and all night to take care of your precious fur baby! I live on a private property with roughly 17 acres. The backside is fenced in however the front side is not but it is an open yard for plenty of fetch and playtime with your for babies. It is roughly 200 yards away from the main road, so no wondering into traffic around here! :)

About: Hi! My name is Riley and I'm a 21-year-old nursing student originally from South Carolina. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm raising and caring for different animals, so caretaking has always come naturally to me. As of now, I have 4 dogs back at home and 1 dog currently residing with me. I live near the college campus, surrounded by hiking trails and parks which is perfect for daily walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of playtime. Making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for is always my #1 priority. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, whether it’s relaxing at home, going for walks, playing in the dog park, or exploring nearby trails. In my home, your pet will also have the opportunity to socialize with my own friendly dog, who loves making new pup friends. About: I have loved dogs since I was a kid! Was interested in booking Vanessa again but sadly found out that she moved out of the area. Vanessa, Cupcake misses Hank and wishes you all the best.”

Heather knows how to deal with my quirky dork of a pup. She was patient with her and made her feel like she was home. My girl is tired and happy.
