“Jeanette was amazing with my babies. She was very nice and responsive and sent lots of pictures. My puppies seemed like they had a lot of fun. Will definitely be coming back again for future puppy sitting needs.”

“Lorena was so welcoming and sweet with our dog. I received a daily text and photos with updates, reassuring me that our pup was doing well and having a great time playing with other dogs! Communication was excellent, she was flexible and able to accommodate our drop off and pickup times. I was 100% comfortable leaving my dog with her and will definitely be booking with Lorena again!”

“Larissa did a wonderful job taking care of Indigo! She kept me updated with pictures and messages so I always knew how my pup was doing. Larissa was incredibly kind, very flexible, and made drop-off and pick-up super easy. I could tell Indigo felt comfortable and well cared for. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Cyndi was awesome! Kept both of our 100+ pounders and never flinched! They were so happy with her I thought they may not want to come home! We will definitely be booking another stay with Cyndi!”

“Jennifer took great care of our dog while we were out of town. She communicated with me every day and sent photos. Before drop off, she called and told me about the environment at her house and asked some questions, which was reassuring. She treated our dog like he was one of her family members. He came home happy and tired, and he made friends with some other pups. We would definitely use Jennifer again as a dogsitter. Thanks!”

“Sonja and Phil were very kind and welcoming. They did a great job making her feel at home and getting settled in. Sammi recently had spinal surgery, so they also ensured she was safe during her stay. Thank you so much for caring for my girl and also your rapid reasons to any inquires/messages.”

“Ronda was absolutely great! My pup warmed up to her immediately and I could tell by the end of her trip, Ronda was a fave! She took great care of pup and kept me up to date on her walks and behavior. My dog sometimes gets separation anxiety, but ate and enjoyed all her time. She was also super flexible with me! Highly recommend!”

“Thank you for taking care of our pups for a few days while we were away and for going above and beyond!! We really appreciated all the pictures, videos and updates of our pups!”

“Susan was so welcoming and I felt very comfortable leaving my Goldendoodle son with her! She has a wonderful, large back yard that my dog enjoyed! She sent me photos everyday and let me know how he was doing. I am 100% booking Susan for my dog the next time I am out of town!”

“Sarah was great! She sent updates consistently while watching Cranberry and took extra care of her when she randomly had a cyst pop during her stay. Would definitely book with Jacob and Sarah again.”

“We found ourselves having to leave our dog for a week. Hiring Sarah to take care of Bruno was the best decision. Her attention to detail and constant updates allowed us to not worry. We definitely recommend Sarah.”

“Rosco had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend stay with Kathryn and her family :) They took such great care of him, like he was one of their own. She communicated and sent pictures daily. Rosco always looked so comfy and cozy, he sure enjoyed his holiday vacation!”

“We had our first experience with Amanda and family, and it was a long stay, over the holidays. I couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful, loving, and kind family to take care of Rufus. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond—even the whole family came out together during the initial meet and greet to meet him, which meant so much to us, and I had no doubts our dog was going to have the best time and be in such great care. Rufus was treated like one of their own, made fast friends with Amanda’s dog (a bigger win than one might realize!) , and absolutely loved having the space to run around and play. We were so grateful for all the updates and communication throughout his stay—it gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. Their flexibility was also such a gift during a busy time. We’ll absolutely be booking with Amanda again and recommending them 100% to anyone looking for a sitter. Thank you so much for taking such incredible care of Rufus!”

“KiKi is amazing! I was nervous for Romy’s first boarding experience as he has some quirks, but it was no challenge for KiKi. She sent the cutest pictures and kept me updated throughout our trip. Romy had the best time playing in the backyard, swinging, and cuddling.”

“Rochelle absolutely exceeded all my expectations. I received so many lovely updates while I was away, and she communicated with me about everything. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit uncertain, but it was such a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be working with Rochelle again, and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Randi went above and beyond to make sure our animals were taken care of. She even voluntarily took home a chick that could not walk and fixed it's leg so it can get around on its own now. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”

“TOP ENDORSEMENT: Pet care is Kimberly's career. This dedication & training are evident in her professional in-person demeanor and ease with animals. Kimberly sat my two male, semi-feral cats for a week and I couldn't be happier with her care. Food, water, and litterbox cleaning was EXACTLY as I asked. The aloof, don't-touch-me cat now adores her. She was even kind enough to water my money tree and stack my mail. Her expertise and depth of experience enabled me to travel completely WORRY FREE. Highly recommend!”

Growing up around pets gave me a natural love for animals, and over the years I’ve helped care for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with walking, feeding, playtime, administering medications, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. About: Hi! I'm Reis, a dependable and active animal lover with both professional and personal pet care experience. I previously worked at a dog boarding facility where I supervised doggie daycare, monitored group play, and helped ensure dogs stayed safe, happy, and well cared for throughout the day. This experience taught me how to work with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and secure, and I strive to provide attentive, loving care that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. As someone with an active lifestyle, I enjoy spending time outdoors and can provide plenty of exercise, walks, playtime, and companionship. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a weekend sitter, or just some extra attention during the day, I'll treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I currently work a part-time job that allows me to have a lot of flexibility. I am able to work in all of Richmond and surrounding areas as well. When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. Whether your pet prefers a relaxed walk and extra patience or lots of activity and play, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and feel safe, happy, and loved.

About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own.
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs ever since I was the age of six and I have a great way and love with them . My schedule varies weekly as I have a college retention student job and I get off pretty late but I’m very flexible. I can always work around getting your pet taken care of! I care for them with love and with their necessities as needed on a daily bases whether it’s taking them out for a walk twice a day or feeding them twice a day as well or any extra care like giving them their meds as needed as well.
“Alexandria was wonderful with our animals! Even the mean cat seemed to like her, which is pretty rare. Yoshi was very excited to see her when she came for their visits. All animals had full water and food when we got back, my spiteful cat hadn’t broken anything out of boredom or spite from being left behind (he hates having us leave for king periods of time)”

About: I’ve grown up with cats my whole life and currently care for my special needs cat, who needs extra attention, patience, and medical support. I understand the boundaries many cats require and know that some simply need a little extra TLC while you’re away. I’m comfortable providing daily care, including administering oral medication and helping with shots if needed. I’m calm, confident, and fully prepared to give your cat the routine care and respect they deserve. Thanks so much for considering me! I’d love to help your cat feel safe and cared for in your absence.

“Rebecca was great with our senior cats. She gave them lots of love and attention and was able to administer medicine. The furry ladies said they’d have her back to visit anytime:)”

“Kelsi and her family were wonderful hosts to Fin! They were adaptable as I needed a last minute pet sit for a couple of hours. Fin loved hanging at their house and he was super comfortable the whole time. I would definitely book with Kelsi again!”

“Svetlana took great care of our 2 dogs on a last minute notice for the day. She is so kind, and good with the dogs. Her house is clean and tidy (1 of my dogs likes to chew everything), and she has a nice large fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I highly recommend her, and will definitely book with her again. Thank you so much!!”

“Wonderful experience! My Goldendoodle, Bailey had so much fun. Hanna sent me pictures and a video and gave me updates. She has a large yard for Bailey to run and play. Reasonable fee. Thank you Hanna!”

“⸻ Pedro had an amazing day with Yeny and Ray! He got plenty of playtime with his new furry friends, Charlie and Leo. When we got home, Pedro was happily tired and ready for bed. Yeny and Ray sent us photos and videos throughout the day, and communication was great. We’ll definitely book with them again!”

About: I have a large variety of experience with dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds. I have had a myriad of pet-sitting jobs—for friends, family, and strangers! I also worked as a Veterinary Assistant for years when was younger, so I can work with dogs and cats of all mannerisms and at all stages of their lives. I am completely comfortable medicating or attending to any special needs. I work remotely so I will be home to give your pet all the attention they may need any day of the week. Pet care fits very easily in my routine since I have 2 of my own! I live in a townhome and have a small fenced in yard that is good for potty breaks and some outdoor chilling, but there are also plenty of areas around me to walk the dogs. I have a 5-year-old 65 lb mixed breed dog named Baloo and a floofy orange cat named Bennett, so any dogs staying with me would need to be dog/cat friendly (or at least tolerating). If I come into your home, I am respectful of your space and able to follow instructions well.
“Ligia did a good job caring for my two dogs in their doggie day care stay. Does a good job of slowly introducing new dogs to each other and respecting if certain dogs don't want to play with others. Her house and yard are set up in a way that allows her to separate animals, if needed. She communicated well with me and was available at the agreed upon times. We will be booking with her again in the future.”

About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

About: Hey! I’m Kaitlynn, I have 7 years of experience with animals. I was on rover a few years ago for 5-6 years and took a break after I had kids. I have worked with a travel vet for 2 years (before kids) and dog grooming! My love for animals hasn’t changed, I’m recently new to Rover again because I love working with animals and would love to start to get out there again. I can easily build my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins without rushing or being tied to a strict 9–5 job. Caring for pets blends perfectly with my active, hands-on lifestyle, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my routine while I manage my business responsibilities. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where they can relax and feel comfortable. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and any feeding or medication schedules are followed closely. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who are very social and do well with other animals, which can be great for pets that enjoy companionship. In a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I respect their space, keep everything clean and consistent, and make sure pets receive the same level of care, love, and attention they would get from their owner.

I will provide a safe, caring, and loving environment for your pets so you’re worry free while away from them! Currently between jobs and am a full time online college student. So I am pretty flexible!! If something doesn’t work i’ll just make that clear but I do not have many scheduled things in my day to day. I don’t mind doing feeding, walking, play time! Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.

“They were wonderful with my sweet Minerva! I got regular updates on how she was doing and they were so very kind. After an unexpected extra day of being gone, they even kept her an extra day happily. There was the cutest outside and inside area the pups had free access to. It wasn't like a kennel where she was cooped up all day. She had play time and fun with the other pups. She didn't even want to leave. As we were leaving, she kept pulling on her leash back to Brooke. This is a dog who doesn't pull on leash without being exceptionally sure of what she wants. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They also allow you to see the area the pups are kept before you book which was great!”

“Rebecca was fantastic. She was a great communicator throughout the entire stay and took wonderful care of Lucy and Ethel. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in her hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter”

“Heather is the absolute best! She’s also very communicative and will make sure your pup feels right at home. Would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a rover in the Fredericksburg area!! She also sends loads of cute pics, which I very much appreciate”

“Charlotte is absolutely amazing!!! She really helped us out with our two rambunctious 3 1/2 month old puppies when a family member was no longer able to watch the pups just days before our trip. With less than a week Charlotte was able to schedule an and meet and greet and add get us on her schedule. We were really in a jam and appreciate her so much. Charlotte has a lot of experience and with her background I felt very comfortable leaving our little ones in her care. Charlotte provided multiple daily updates and photos. Our girls had a wonderful time! We will definitely be using her again in the future!”
