About: I've always loved animals, from my first guinea pig at age 11 I was hooked! I have dog and cat sat in my neighborhood, and made friends with as many pets as I could. I'm not afraid to have fun with any dog big or small, and I'm more than open to bathing and grooming as well. I am also experienced in giving medication to pets who need it, mostly with pills but I've also learned how to do on skin treatment as well. I have taken care of everything ranging from snails and fish to birds and reptiles. I'm very passionate about giving all animals the affection and playtime they deserve. I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. I work a 40 hour week in Waynesboro and depending on location of the pet, can do drop in visits before and after work and sometimes during the day (if local). I can come to your home or your dog can come to mine. I am not opposed to overnight stays. Your pet will be treated as if my own and with as much love and care as they can handle! They are more than pets, they are family!

I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
