“Walter and his family were great hosts and caretakers for our dog. They made us feel super comfortable by sending updates and pictures while we were away. We have already asked them to take care of our dog again because of the wonderful care they provided!”

“Yogi enjoyed his stay. I like that there are options. Dogs can stay in the house. But if they are more comfortable outside, she has a deck with access to a fenced in grass area. Good communication. No problems.”

“Alexsys has watched my dogs 3 times now and is the best dog sitter. My dogs love going over there and I love all the updates and pictures I get from her. As long as she is dog sitting and willing I will always use her!”

“I can’t say enough great words about Cindy. She took great care of our precious Hank. She sent photos during his stay. She responded quickly and so friendly to our text whenever we checked in. Our fur baby was treated like her own during our vacation. 150% would recommend Cindy to care for your baby and would use her again and again!”

“Yzabella took such wonderful care of Marley, and he had a great time with her and her family!! She kept me updated throughout his stay by sending pictures and videos, which was so appreciated and showed how happy and well cared for he was. I’m also incredibly grateful that she was available on such short notice. Her kindness, reliability, and genuine love for animals truly stand out. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet! 🐾”

“Kalley is an amazing sitter. She took awesome pictures and updated me daily on how my baby was doing. Thank you so much Kalley. We’ll be booking with again soon!”

“This was Oliver's first time separated from us. Kenneling was not an option as Oliver is such a people pooch. I found Lori on Rover.com as a friend recommended the site. Lori sounded wonderful and was close by. Lori came by for a 'meet & greet' and hit it off with Oliver straightaway. We dropped Oliver off and left on our trip with great relief. While we were away Lori sent me a photo of Oliver in the backyard loving life. I highly recommend - your pooch will be in not just good, but caring hands.”

“Linda did an amazing job watching our little pup Bentley. We were gone for 5 days and she accommodated us with even picking him up a bit early. Bentley has only been with us for 4 months so we weren't sure how it would go. It went amazing. So much so he even looked a little sad to be leaving Linda. She gave updates even when I wasn't able to ask or get right back with her. Bentley has a bit of a finicky stomach and has zero problems since we brought him home. Linda is very kind and attentive not only to the needs of Bentley but ours too. We definitely will be back when we plan our family trip next year. I can't tell her thank you enough. She truly put all my worries at ease. No question that she was the perfect pick for us and Bentley. Thank you again Linda!”

“Katherine was a great host to my two very dissimilar dogs. They enjoyed the open space that was provided. She provided effective communication before during and after their stay. I will definitely use her service again and recommend.”

“Jessica was wonderful, I’m not sure my poodle missed me at all. She sent me regular updates, pictures and videos. Sometimes he was happily lap sitting. Sometimes she videoed him playing with toys her dog or interacting with her family. I was gone 10 days. I was happy to see him doing so well. He is a picky eater so I had sent cubed up chicken breast to mix with his food. When she ran out she cooked him another, which was going way above what I expected. I would definitely take my dog to Jessica again.”

“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”

“Allison was great with our boys! One of my dogs has a needy diet and Allison was more than willing to make the rice and provide for them with no questions asked! She sent us pictures throughout their stay and updated us when needed!”

Whether your pet loves to play, explore, or simply relax, they’ll receive personalized care, plenty of love, and the attention they deserve throughout their stay. I’m a full time stay in home mom, who will be home most of the time to provide potty breaks and will be able to be close to pets. I have a fenced back yard. And all areas of my home are gated. Your dog will be kept in a comfortable free space. I can provide a more personal crate if required.
“Gabby was very responsive, caring, and flexible. She was engaged with the dogs during their stay and patient with our shy girl. She's also willing to take on this extra responsibilty during a busy holiday season. She is the best!”

“Chris and his family are always excellent. We love leaving our baby boy with them; they feel like family. It's another home for him to enjoy and snuggle in. We are grateful to Chris, Rob, Carla, and their new social kid, Milo, for making it such a wonderful place for our baby Boy to spend time and have fun. Thank you all for the warmth and care!”

“So very pleased with Melissa. She checked in daily on Sammy and always sent photos and a detailed — often humorous— update on how he was and what he was doing. I will definitely hire Melissa again and highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve been around cats my whole life! I started caring for cats through my grandmother’s pet sitting business when I was 8 years old. My family has also rescued and owned several cats over the years, giving me experience with cats of all ages and personalities. I currently care for a client’s cat, Mimi (pictured), a sweet one-eyed kitty who has taught me even more about providing patient, loving, and specialized care. 🐱💕
“Kimberly went very very above and beyond in taking care of our cat during a winter storm. She is wonderful — I can’t recommend her more highly. I will book again soon!”
About: Hello! My name is Samantha. I have grown up with all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, rats, lizards, snakes, ect. I have dog sat in the past for friends and family and have raised/helped raise several different dog breeds including a litter of 9 Doberman/cane corso puppies. I love animals and give them all the attention and care i can offer! I am not currently working, so i have a lot of free time on my hands, especially during the week to fill with animal love! I will treat your house as my own and respect your space. I will clean up any mess left from your pooch if any and follow whatever directions you leave for me
About: Everyone calls me when they need a reliable and dedicated pair of hands to watch over their children. Yes, I treat every dog like a furry child. I've helped raise dogs from 6 weeks to 16 years old. The young and the old need a little more attention and I'm happy to help. Those terrible 2's just need extra attention, and I'm happy to provide that too! I love all animals and will probably treat the kids like royalty. I prefer the company of dogs than my friends, they could vouch for that! I'm both loving and also stern because I've raised both labs and pitties. They require different types of parenting techniques, and I am equipped to handle anything. I work full time, Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. I'm happy to use my work breaks to check on animals for those who need the extra attention. My availability will be based around my work and my 2 kiddos at home. I can adjust weekly routines to incorporate pickup/drop offs, stop in visits, after work walks, or overnight stays. I treat dogs like they are our kids. I talk to them, I cuddle with them, and I use positive reinforcement to train good habits. I've helped raise a dozen dogs and each dog likes to show you how they like to be treated. I learned this lesson the hard way when I was raising dogs and had to learn different techniques to train each of them individually. Labs learn and function much different than bulldogs and pitbulls. I treat each dog the same regardless of size or attitude. Though I may give them some attitude when mouth off, like I do with my pitty at home (lol). I'm a safety first kind of person when it comes to our kids. So I tend to lean on the side of caution and extra equipment when interacting with most dogs. I always keep extra dogs supplies in my truck at all times as I have been known to that guy who stops traffic to try to rescue a dog. I've done this probably 6 or 7 times.
“Charlotte is very knowledgeable and reliable. She took good care of my cats while we were out of town. I will book her again and highly recommend Charlotte for pet sitting services.”

“Courtney watched my two cats and was amazing with them! She’s very communicative and detail oriented. The pictures and updates gave me peace of mind while away. She spent plenty of time playing with them, showered them with treats, and was always prompt with their feeding times. Would definitely book her again!”

About: I have extensive experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, small animals (like rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters), and even large animals. Whether it’s daily care, feeding routines, exercise, or just companionship, I’m comfortable and confident in providing attentive and loving care tailored to each animal’s needs. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all ages and temperaments—puppies and kittens, energetic adult pets, and seniors who need a little extra patience and support. I’ve also worked with animals that have special needs, such as those requiring medication, specific diets, or behavioral understanding. From walking dogs to mucking stalls, from playtime with curious cats to maintaining proper enclosures for small animals—I treat every animal with the same level of compassion, respect, and responsibility as if they were my own. As a part-time pet sitter, I’m available mornings and evenings during the week, and have open availability on weekends. This schedule allows me to provide dependable care around your pet’s routine—whether that’s early morning walks, breakfast and dinner feedings, or evening check-ins for some companionship and play. On weekends, I’m fully available for more extended visits, drop-ins, walks, or boarding if needed. I make it a priority to follow your pet’s regular routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for in your absence. Even with a part-time schedule, your pet will receive focused attention, affection, and reliable care every time I visit. At my home, your dog will have plenty of room to run! We live on 45+/- acres and my dog will be happy to run with yours and give them a tour of the farm! Whether your pet is in care at my home or yours, I will send regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. I’ll reach out with any questions or concerns.
About: I love animals, and I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. When I’m looking after your pet, I treat them the same way I would want my own pets treated if I were away, with patience, kindness, and full attention to their needs. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with a stranger...I still worry. That’s why I do everything I can to make both you and your pet feel comfortable from the very beginning. Building trust is so important to me, and I want you to feel completely confident that your pet is in good hands! I’ve been dog sitting for years, and I also volunteered at an animal shelter throughout college, which gave me hands-on experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. This has helped me become confident in handling everything from energetic puppies to shy or senior dogs who need a little extra care. Communication is KEY. I will provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I can pick up the phone anytime! I work a 9-5 but am available before and after work! I am very active and I like to prioritize walking and physical activity. My dad currently has a "Foster Fail" who I adore. Anytime I'm home, he knows to jump in the car and go. We walk and play together most days. I think it's unfair to not walk our dogs (if you are able). They give so much to us, the least we can do is give them a good walk!

“Georgia did a great job looking after my two shy kitties! I appreciate that she made them feel comfortable with familiar toys and treats, and made sure they were well cared for while we were away.”

“Absolutely the best, and works with my dysfunctional schedule… my dog comes home happy and tired from playing all day. I couldn’t work comfortably without her. 1000/10 recommend doggy day care with her!”

“Shaghayegh made Tucker feel right at home. He went into her house happy and excited. I received photos of their walk. I’m happy and I highly recommend Shaghayegh.”

About: I’ve taken care of many different pets over the past two years. I created a Facebook page for pet sitting and have watch dogs, cats, even ducks. I love any and all pets! I’m currently taking collage classes online while doing pet sitting. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet in my day and I can even stay with your pet for the day while taking my classes with them sitting by my side. I am not able to currently watch pets at my house but would be more then happy to come and stay with your pet over night for there comfort.
About: Dog care certified in Argentina, as an animal lover I want to pursue career caring for them. Since young, I used to spend a lot of time in dog walks and parks with them. I believe now, I can provide them the perfect environment of a fenced backyard of 10.000 sqf. I love to exercise and pamper pups and we're easy to reach, even for a last-minute need. With some dog training experience and a lot of love for dogs, I look forward to taking care of your family member like one of our own. Depending on your pup's needs, I will take long playtime or jogs with your dog. If your furry family member just needs companionship and loving attention, I am happy to provide that kind of care, too. Photos of your dog will be shared with you throughout their visit. I love to send lots of pictures of my guests. My house is generally a cage-free environment, but will use your crates if that is what your pup is used to at home. I have a couple of gates to use as necessary to separate dogs during meals and to give them a large, safe play area in our home.
“This was the first time we used Rover.com so we were a little apprehensive. Linda made that first time experience wonderful. Words cannot describe how pleased we were with response, friendliness and most of all the care our fur baby received. Would recommend her service without hesitation.”

“Lisette is WONDERFUL and her family is also so nice. She was very friendly and lovable, super communicative, helpful, and also flexible. She took great care of my dog and sent photos throughout the day, and he was really happy and relaxed (and in no hurry to leave) when I came to pick him up so I know he loved being there! I definitely recommend her and will send my dog there again anytime she's available!”

“Haejin & Herscel were wondering caretakers! They were open to taking my dog for daycare a few days before and treated her so well. I liked that they only take a few dogs a day to reduce exposure and ensure they are all being watched. I loved the occasional photo and video updates, which her other daycare doesn't do it all. She came home very tired from playing all day, which was exactly what we wanted. I look forward to using them again!”

“Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. If you read this Linda, I am interested in that food you had there for your fosters. Please shoot me a message, I may look at ordering it to try next time. Thanks again!”

“Gabby was an awesome Dog Sitter. I could tell from the moment she met my dogs that she was going to be a great sitter. She sent me pictures throughout their day to keep me updated. Would definitely recommend.”

“My dog Pebbles loves Lauren and her adorable, gentle children! They are the perfect match! We are so blessed to have found a sitter who makes sure she feels like part of her family. 🤗”

About: I love dogs! I’ve taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and currently have one of my own. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, walking and training dogs on and off lead. I currently work only part-time, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. There are a few weekends or nights that I’ll be away, but we can book in advance. I have a private house with tons of green space and corn fields. We have no visible neighbors, so your dog will enjoy a bit of the peaceful country lifestyle. My dog goes outside off-leash, but I can keep yours on to keep them safe.
About: My wife & I grew up with pets all kinds and recently we adopted a dog from a rescue and that spark has been reignited of what we've been missing. We have thought long and hard and prayed about doing this. We have a 11 year old son that loves to walk the animals and give them exercise and plenty of opportunities to do their business. My Wife home schools and I currently work part-time so someone will always be home to monitor your pet/pets. We have been told that recent pets we've sitted are in heaven when their in our home. We have one small pup she is 3.5 years old and seems to do well with other pets. We will love and care for your pets just as if they were our own.
About: With 10 years of experience caring for dogs, I'm passionate about keeping them happy and active with fun walks. I also have experience managing multiple dogs on walks. I’m currently in summer break so I have more free time than usual and I always wake up early to take my own dogs out. I always take my dogs out 3 times a day morning, evening and night. As well as giving them ample food and water in the mornings and evenings. And of course we can talk more about how I can better take care of your pup.
About: I have always had a deep love and affection for animals, and I am lucky enough to have three fur babies of my own. Whether it's walking, feeding, or just providing some extra TLC, I am dedicated to making sure that your pets are well taken care of. If you are in need of a responsible and caring pet sitter, I would love the opportunity to be of service. My husband and I both work from home so we are able to provide bathroom breaks, cuddles and attention all day long for our fur guests. For drop in visits we can come during our lunch hour and right after work! I am able to provide food, medications, love, cuddles, time outside, play time, and make sure they are taken care of to the fullest extent during their visit with my family.

“Kimberly is incredible!!! She always take such good care of my baby while I’m at work and sends me tons of pictures. I’m never worried when Kimberly is coming. My dog is also very anxious of people and she warmed right up to her. I can’t say enough good things about her. Highly recommend!!!”

About: Since age 8, I’ve helped with my grandmother’s pet sitting business, caring for dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals. I have hands-on experience training my own dogs using positive reinforcement techniques and have spent years working with and caring for horses, both personally and through volunteering at a local horse barn. I also have experience caring for small animals and rodents, giving me confidence working with pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life, as animals have always been a huge part of it. Outside of pet sitting, I currently only work at my part-time job from 3 PM to 1 AM on Thursdays and Fridays, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the rest of the week. This schedule allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I treat every pet as if they were my own and do my best to keep them on their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, get plenty of exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I also make sure to follow any specific instructions regarding medications, training routines, or household rules. My goal is to provide a safe, reliable, and caring environment so both pets and owners feel at ease while they’re away.

“Sherry took our menagerie of dogs and cats in stride when she arrived and she handled my dog Duncan with ease during the walk. She obviously loves animals and my dog, who is sometimes shy with strangers, immediately liked her and will be happy to see her the next time she comes. I highly recommend her if you need a good caretaker for your pets.”

I also volunteer at the PWC Animal Shelter! i am a freshman music major at shenandoah university. i have a decent amount of availability to care for your pets every day. i have a pretty relaxed schedule. i have lots of experience with pet care and your animals will have my full attention throughout the visit. i make sure to provide your pets with adequate enrichment and play and overall care.
About: I have taken care of sick elderly dog. Friends and family rely on me to take care of their dogs or cats or other pets. I have had experience with farm animals. I have taken care of my pet rabbit everyday. I’m open to cats or dogs or any other types of pets, even snakes, I actually love snakes. They’re so cute. I’m a freshman in college, and I am taking a path to becoming a veterinarian. Currently I will not be available, but for me school ends on May 10, so after that I will be home for summer and be available 24/7. We only have a pet bunny, so we built her a hutch that has little side doors and a top that opens up and you can reach her. She has a little house inside the hutch where she can sit inside when it’s cold outside, it’s filled with straw.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and got into dog training 2 years ago. I assisted a dog training company with the dogs they would board and care for, and assisted with multiple training outings. I also raised and trained my own service animal. I’m currently working part time, and will focus solely on providing care for your pet and home. They are my number one priority and love to do things with them. I will take them on long walks and do training with them to get their brain going. I’ll make sure their meals are extra tasty and made with love.

About: I have been an animal lover & owner my entire life. I've always had a dog along with the occasional hamster, cat, guinea pig, lizard, hermit crab, rabbit, bird & fish. I love animals especially dogs. I am very comfortable with large breed dogs as well as smaller dogs too. I like to think the bigger the dog the more loves & cuddles you get.🥰 I've volunteered for rescues over the past 10 years & have fostered both dogs & cats. I'm very excited to meet new animals and their owners. I currently have 1 dog & 3 cats. I try to stick to your animal's schedule so they continue with their normal routines. I make sure your animal is given lots of attention & play time. I will show your animal affection & lots of play time & snuggling if they enjoy that.

“Gabby was very responsive, caring, and flexible. She was engaged with the dogs during their stay and patient with our shy girl. She's also willing to take on this extra responsibilty during a busy holiday season. She is the best!”

“THE BEST! Michelle and her son are the SWEETEST. So easy to talk to and very communicative. We are so happy we found Michelle . Unfortunately, our previous sitter can no longer watch dogs. So we have tried to find a sitter that matches her love and treated our girl like her own. Our doggo was even so sad when she got home. I'm sure she missed Michelle and her sweet son. She had such a great time being spoiled and playing all day.”

“Heather is absolutely amazing! We’ve never left one of our dogs with anyone outside of family and it was so nice to see they had a blast and made themselves feel right at home. She is flexible, quick response time and has plenty of room for our dogs to run and play, also meeting some new friends with their dogs. We will keep our dogs going to Heather anytime we leave town and she is available.”

“Lauren provided excellent care for Bryce. She regularly sent photos and videos of him throughout his stay with her. Her yard is large and fenced in so plenty of space for your pup to zoom around. High recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

“Whitney was incredible good with my little one. She took care of him very well when I was sick. And Tokyo had a great time with her dog Feather. She sent me lots of pictures and lmk all the time of how was my dog, and I appreciate that very much. Thank you Whitney!!!”

“Desirae took excellent care of my fur babies. She sent lots of pictures throughout the stay as well which was much appreciated. They always looked happy in the pictures as well. Desirae was also very flexible with the needs of my pups and with pickup/drop off times. Would definitely book with her again.”
“First time using Rover. We boarded our 4 dogs with Briana for 3 nights. She sent updates and photos and we could see that they were comfortable and content. So glad we picked Briana. Yes, 5 stars!”
