“Lori agreed to sit our pup Rowena, who we had only had for about 3.5 weeks by the time of our trip, and we were fairly nervous about leaving her so soon! However, Lori was so friendly and excited about meeting/watching her, and she and James were clearly very attentive and encouraging to her for the duration of the stay, even as she was more reserved and shy than at home. About: My mom is allergic to cats, so I didn’t own any growing up, but over the years I developed a love for them, and would often spend time at my grandparents and my boyfriend’s house just to look after their cats. Puke and poop doesn’t bother me so I think I have an upper hand😉

“This is the first time I have ever written an online review for anything. However, I have decided, in this case, a review is very much warranted. I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. “Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: Everyone calls me when they need a reliable and dedicated pair of hands to watch over their children. Yes, I treat every dog like a furry child. I've helped raise dogs from 6 weeks to 16 years old. The young and the old need a little more attention and I'm happy to help. Those terrible 2's just need extra attention, and I'm happy to provide that too! I love all animals and will probably treat the kids like royalty. I prefer the company of dogs than my friends, they could vouch for that! I'm both loving and also stern because I've raised both labs and pitties. They require different types of parenting techniques, and I am equipped to handle anything. I work full time, Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. I'm happy to use my work breaks to check on animals for those who need the extra attention. My availability will be based around my work and my 2 kiddos at home. I can adjust weekly routines to incorporate pickup/drop offs, stop in visits, after work walks, or overnight stays. I treat dogs like they are our kids. I talk to them, I cuddle with them, and I use positive reinforcement to train good habits. I've helped raise a dozen dogs and each dog likes to show you how they like to be treated. I learned this lesson the hard way when I was raising dogs and had to learn different techniques to train each of them individually. Labs learn and function much different than bulldogs and pitbulls. I treat each dog the same regardless of size or attitude. Though I may give them some attitude when mouth off, like I do with my pitty at home (lol). I'm a safety first kind of person when it comes to our kids. So I tend to lean on the side of caution and extra equipment when interacting with most dogs. I always keep extra dogs supplies in my truck at all times as I have been known to that guy who stops traffic to try to rescue a dog. I've done this probably 6 or 7 times.
About: Hi, my name is Tiersa and my family and I have recently moved from Georgia to come “back home” to the panhandle of West Virginia. I have lots of experience with drop-in visits, walks, and especially boarding (though I’m currently not boarding until our house is finished being built). When I’m not walking and playing with new animal friends I’m at home, homeschooling my children who are 14 and 12. I love any and all breeds and people call me the dog whisperer haha but joking aside i truly love these animals and would love to car for yours. “We are so pleased with Jessica. She and her family took great care of our dog. They have the perfect property for our active dog, and her dog was the ideal playmate. She didn't want to leave. And was exhausted, so I know they played hard and had great fun together. We definitely recommend Jessica, especially for active dogs that love to play.”
“Lori agreed to sit our pup Rowena, who we had only had for about 3.5 weeks by the time of our trip, and we were fairly nervous about leaving her so soon! However, Lori was so friendly and excited about meeting/watching her, and she and James were clearly very attentive and encouraging to her for the duration of the stay, even as she was more reserved and shy than at home. Lori communicated throughout the stay and sent a happy Weena home with a neckerchief and a bone. We hope Weena can visit again soon! Thanks so much, Lori. ??”

“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”
“Erin was an incredible host for our dog, Coco!!! She went above and beyond in so many ways to make Coco feel at home, and kept me updated with photos and texts all along the way. While we were away we felt like Coco was having her own amazing vacation with all the walks, cuddles and special care Erin and her family gave her. Now they feel like her adopted family and we won’t hesitate to leave our dog with Erin again. Best Rover experience ever!”
“THE BEST! Michelle and her son are the SWEETEST. So easy to talk to and very communicative. We are so happy we found Michelle . Unfortunately, our previous sitter can no longer watch dogs. So we have tried to find a sitter that matches her love and treated our girl like her own. Our doggo was even so sad when she got home. I'm sure she missed Michelle and her sweet son. She had such a great time being spoiled and playing all day.”
