During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”
About: I worked for a pet walking company doing a little bit of everything. I have walked dogs (sometimes multiples) and done many drop in visits for potty breaks and play times and feedings. I have an extremely flexible and open schedule due to being a stay at home mom the last few years. I would be available for drop in services at most times. I’ve learned that owners will have their own rules and that is what would be followed at the clients house. This could be a list of things to have done in a set amount of time or rules on feeding, playing, etc. In my own home you can expect your pets to be spoiled! “Kim was great with our little girl Golden Retriever, Lexie. Kim and her boyfriend played ball with her and took her for a walk. Lexie also got to play with two Golden puppies. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for her to burn off that extra energy. Kim sent many pictures to let us know that Lexie was eating well and playing with the others. This was only a two day, one night stay but Kim and her boyfriend went out of their way to make sure Lexie was happy and that we were informed so we would not worry. It was a great experience.”

“Gretchen is OUTSTANDING!!! Gretchen kept our 5 year old sweet pup for 15 days and by the pictures she sent me throughout my trip I could tell she made him feel right at home! He absolutely loves being outside and Gretchen’s yard is the perfect place for an outdoor dog. He also loves cuddles and I could tell he was getting his fix. Gretchen was so aware of our dog and his needs and truly cared for him like he was her own. He was extremely well taken care of and loved throughout his stay. I will absolutely be calling Gretchen in the future for more stays!”
“Selena was an 11th hour request and she accommodated me and my little ones with no issues at all. Selena kept all 3 of my dogs for 3.5 days and they enjoyed their time with her. She kept me posted with pictures and an update. She asked questions if she saw something odd and she let me know how they were doing. I would not have gone on vacation had I not felt comfortable with our first conversation where she told me that she allows the dogs to roam the house and be part of the family. ❤️ if you book with Selena, you can have peace of mind! About: I take care of pets for family when they need it and have experience caring for older pets, puppies, and those with special care instructions. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can take time to walk dogs during the day. I’m most available during the weekend and after 5 pm for over night boarding, but can potentially accommodate other schedules. I have no pets, so my home is perfect for less friendly pets. Crates will need to provided if they are needed for your pet, but I’m willing to keep up with their routine.
