“Very highly recommended! Chantal and her husband were great caretakers for our two dogs for a week’s time — even more than we could have expected. They have a beautiful, spacious, safe place — both indoors and for when they had to go outside. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them there while we were away. From the beginning during our meet-and-greet through pick-up at the end of our trip, we saw just how kind and calm they were, treating our dogs just like their own dog and providing lots of interaction and play. Also, Chantal was extremely accommodating of our 7 month old puppy’s “puppy behavior” and attentive to the need to go outside more frequently. She provided updates every day (and was very responsive to other questions) and we could see just how relaxed our pups were, as if they were staying with family. About: I grew up in the country taking care of dogs, horses, cows, a pig, a lamb, bunnies and probably more that I can't think of! After years of service in the military where having a dog is difficult so I didn't have one, I finally got a corgi last year. His name is Gnocchi he's over a year old. I also got Luna, she's an Austrailian Shepard puppy and she is 6 months old. I recently had a 6 foot fence installed so my dogs can run free! They love other dogs to play with. I am comfortable with senior dogs, puppies and dogs who might need medication as well. I'm currently not working but I am looking for a remote position so being home while my kids are at school is my normal routine! I have a 6 ft fenced yard with an undercover area that is also fenced. I plan on getting some dog houses for that undercover area so they have a warm place to snuggle or they can come inside as well when it gets really cold or really hot!

I worked at the Virginia Tech Dairy, milking cows and feeding calves, during my time as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech. I currently own a horse and I have two dogs. I have a heart for taking care of animals and I have a lot of experience. I have experience with caring for special needs, administering medications, and wound/injury care. I love all animals. I have two acres at my house, it’s not fenced in but I have gps fence collars. I have access to a large farm and river frontage where your dog can be thoroughly exercised with permission. They will be let out, fed their breakfast, and exercised first thing in the morning. They will be let out or walked every 4 hours or less. I started working at my local animal shelter in 2012, I worked there for three and half years. About: I was raised on a farm so I have been taking care of animals my whole life! I had a Dalmatian, golden retriever, and German Shepard growing up as a kid. I have fostered numerous dogs the last three years. My sweet Gemma girl who was a lab mix sadly passed away three years ago and we’re not quite ready for another dog yet so until then I would love to spoil and help take care of your four legged baby I was recently unexpectedly laid off from my full time job so I have lots of availability especially during the day to help care for your four legged babies I have a large yard for the dogs to play in and would love to take your dogs on walks and care for them at their home too. I do have two young children but no other pets in my home currently
